There needs to be more Pokemon VG events in Philly.
THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE POKEMON VG EVENTS IN PHILLY!
The road is long and dark, and quite frightening. There's really only one way to get more in Philly. Start one! But how?
I've been on-and-off applying for the Professorship program for Pokemon for the past oh...2 years or so and nothing's panned out. After all, what do I, a competitive Pokemon VG player, know about TGC, which is what the entire Professorship test is based on? Still, it ain't stopping me from trying.
After griping on TC's chat over the past couple of days about the lack of Pokemon fun in Philly, I thought it was time to bite the bullet and at LEAST look into what it takes to run a league here. Oh boy, reading the League Instructions quite overwhelmed me. I could literally feel the words slipping out of my brain as I was reading, unable to grasp most of what I saw. Crap, crap, double crap!
I could ask Dorian. She's the one who organized the Pokemon Regionals here in Philly (it was a disaster last Spring, totally not her fault though. That was a LOT of people). She would know.
I never talked to her though. An email, straight out of the blue about how to organize a league, how awkward! I've never been great shakes at writing to another person except in extreme informality. My communication grade, an F. CRAP CRAP TRIPLE CRAP!
What to do?! That email WILL be sent... eventually. When eventually IS, hell if I know...
