I'll take a guess and say it's from Wild Arms, I must say that I've never heard of that show before, but it does soiund interesting...

It's an anime/game. First, a game, then an anime that hardly anyone knew about, and then, back to being a game. Wild ARMs is a game a grew up with as a child. It's old-westerned theme, and because of that game, I'm addicted to it and old-western stuff... It also has incredibly good music in it...

There's three games of it so far. It's an incredibly underated series.
The fourth game... the company delayed that one twice... it was supposed to come out October 11th, 2004, but now, it's coming out sometime in November, 2005.

Wow, from your links, the game and anime sounds very cool..

Not many anime I've heard of are based upon Old Westerns, but I could be wrong..
 
An old western japanese game of the wild west.
Not much games or animes are about that.
