Why did they show the SasuNaru reunion bit which is like 20 chapters away from the original arc?

I think it's a cool part of Shippuuden. Naruto ended (if we don't count the fillers) when Sasuke and Naruto went their separate ways and now Shippuuden starts with their reunion and what lead to that.
Since the bond between Sasuke and Naruto is the most important personal relationship in the story I think it's great that now Shippuuden is focused around that.

And I think now the belt is a belt for people who're into the Snake stuff (Orochimaru summoning the snake).

Kimimaro hadn't anything to do with the snakes and he had one...Maybe it's belt for the angsty people? XD

Like Peach said, he is not stupid, and does have emotions.
At first he doesn't really have any since he's been trained not to, but after interacting with Naruto & Sakura and seeing how much they care for Sasuke, he starts to change and show a bit of emotion.
