OOC: Oh, Omnireaper was the Torchic... no wonder I was so mixed up. (By the way, essentially what's happening here is that Travis and the current Hoenn league champ met before he was league champ. Obviously, this other guy is a lot tougher then Travis, but he owes him a favor. Just thought I'd make it clear.)
BIC:
"Well, no theories on the legendary executives," Travis said, "But I'm not sure Groudon and Kyogre are the way to go- and I doubt Maxie and Archie are turning into Groudon and Kyogre. I think it doesn't depend so much on who has searched for the Pokemon, as it does who really understands it. Morty's been looking for Ho-oh for years, but he's turning into Kadabra." The Zangoose began pacing, scratching the back of his head absentmindedly. "Keh, let's see.... her? No... Him? Uh-uh..." Finally, he shook his head. "I can't think of who Groudon or Kyogre would be, for sure, unless it was-" he stopped, realization dawning on him.
"Wait here a moment, I need to get to make a very, very personal call." Travis shouted, before dashing out the door of the gym and dodging behind its side wall. Digging into his pocket he pulled out his Pokenav and fumbled with it for a few moments, trying unsucessfully to dial the numbers with his oversized claws. Finally, he met sucess. The device opened, and a voice said "Hello?"
Travis filled with excitement. The voice hadn't really said hello. Instead, it had said something like "Quaza..."
"Rory? Is that you?" Travis whispered.
"Who else would it be?"
"Rory, where are you right now? I'm coming to Hoenn, and I need a favor."
"A favor? I guess I do owe you a bit for helping me when we were first starting out. What kind?"
"Can you carry about fifteen people to the last known locations of Groudon or Kyogre?"
"You're joking."
"No, really. We need to spark a conflict between them."
"I'd ask if you're insane, but I'm the one covered in green scales."
"At least you don't shed. Will you do it?"
Rory paused for a moment. "Yeah."
"Great. See ya!"
Travis clicked his Pokenav shut, his face flushed with triumph, as he re-entered the gym. "That," he explained, "Was an old friend. He and I started our journey at roughly the same time, and he owes me a favor from forever ago. Of course, he hasn't paid it back yet, but..." the Zangoose's eyes sparkled, "Let's just say that we have a destination now. The League Champion's home, in Sootopolis city."
