[PokeCommunity.com] The Steam Winter Sale begins!

The Steam Winter Sale is on! (Dec 22 -- Jan 2nd)

Now before you go off to buy all those games you never got to, here are some things that you should consider:

    • While the Steam Sale is nice, it may also be smart to look to other sites for better deals. GreenmanGaming, Gamers Gate, Nuuvem, G2A (shop morally, kiddos), and Getgames are just a few examples that always have incredible deals, so don't limit yourself. In fact, these sites often have competitive discounts specifically because Steam is having their annual sale, so they are certainly worth checking out. Having said that, keep the previous tip in mind.
    • Get Enhanced Steam. GET ENHANCED STEAM.
    • Put games on your wishlist. If there's a game you really want and you don't want to have to keep looking at the Steam Sale for a better deal, put the game on your wishlist so that you will get e-mails about deals for games on your wishlist. If you want a more immediate and versatile means of getting deals, isthereanydeal.com allows you to import your Steam Wishlist (or just search for games) and have deals from a plethora of trusted sites and Steam emailed to you. What's more, you can check the deal price against the lowest the price for that specific game has ever gone, letting you know if you're getting a good deal. The site is highly recommended.

    ---

With that in mind, is there anything you plan on buying? Anything that you've bought? Or do you have any questions about this whole thing?

I was about to buy a game that was 90% off regular price, but it went down on me.

    blaaaaaaaarghsdfghjkl

SimCity 4 Deluxe for Mac was only ?2.49. I will now spend my four-day weekend devoted to zoning for the tallest skyscrapers money can buy!

BAM! Good thing i fckin waited! I knew that the Winter sale was in the horizon. Anyway, I can now finally upgrade my base game of Fallout New Vegas into the Ultimate Edition (i don't mind the dupe copy) and i can finally do all of the content with the extra level cap, new perks, and of course Dead Money to Lonesome Road.

Oh that 1000 PHP Steam Wallet code i bought was so worth, even if it cost me a part of my savings. Then again, its the holiday season. These only come once a year.

Also CSGO, once again on sale. The minute i finally get the game, I expect to duo with anyone if I'm in the mood. We could climb the rankings together, get into Master Guardian X (or MGXXX if you're that lewd), join a team because we know where fckin better than most current players in the scene and more likely the more we duo, the more we face any of those BROFESSIONALS while we are spraying their faces and turning them into bloody chem trails (save for Luminosity, they are coo), and carry that team TO VICTOLY! Oh yeah! CYBERSPORTS!

750 left in my Steam Wallet. Sadly, i would love to use my card again but recent issues with it (aka actually hacked sigh) has neutered by buying power so hard this time.

Red Orchestra. oh boy. I would so buy this right now even if it gives me a heart attack. And eventually I'll be duo quoeing with anyone in my contact list who has it, and we be smashing faces left, right, and four score centers.

I...may get either Dark Souls or DOOM this time around. Or Fallout 4. Very tempting!

For those buying DOOM 2016 for the very first time in their lovely lives, just a headsup. The game since its launch had FREE updates from the past couple of months that has added some content to snapmap modules and the ever fun and funny"Arcade Mode". It would take an eternity to patch up for those with slow internet speeds. basically, patching the game to its latest version can be longer than installing the base game itself mind you. I don't know if I have mentioned this previously but again, just a friendly reminder. Of course, all of that is worth the wait. ; )

Also, another headsup. Left4DeadwithSpaceMarines i meant Space Hulk Death Wing is also up with a small discount. But those looking for their first person shooting Warhammer experience with of course Space Marines and hulking masses of Power armor will like the game.

Killing Floor 2 (FULL VERSION, none of that Early access BS anymore) is also in a 25% Sale. Its a huge improvement over its Early Access days. Also, need some good marksmen to play with in the near future. I'm working with my Berserking and Sword swinging ways.

I'm freaking broke at the moment but I might get some more holiday money. If I do I've really been looking at Final Fantasy 9 and Vampire the Masquerade, as well as Grim Fandango Remastered and Dark Souls 3...

It'd be nice to have more money. > <

Do you know how big of a file is DOOM after the new updates? My boyfriend told me it was more than 80 GB and it was taking up the majority of space.
