The StreetPass UK Pokkén Tournament Launch Tournament

StreetPass groups around the UK have volunteered to run events in the name of this Tournament and each host qualifier events between the games launch, 18th March 2016, and 30th April 2016. Competitors who place 1st at these qualifiers will automatically receive a place in the StreetPass UK Virtual National Final, which will be held online on Saturday May 7th 2016 at 6pm.

Will anyone here be able to attend any of these? I think it's a fantastic idea and I'd really like to take part. My local group hasn't announced that they're participating yet but fingers crossed! If not there is one further away that may be possible.

My local group held their qualifiers this past weekend and I was able to go! I came third so didn't win anything or qualify for the final but it was a great event to go to! So good to be around people who love Pokemon! The thing I remember most is that whenever a Pikachu Libre was on screen people would chant Pika-chu! Pika-chu! Like when she does her Burst Attack! Awesome.
