Nearly done with the history. Just kinda accidentally turned it into a book >w> And I get the feeling I'll have to make a lotta edits in it later. Everything sounded all great and fine in my mind, but then when I started writing it I had to throw out and change a bunch of stuff because it didn't make sense.

Appearance: Yellow Golden (Blonde) Hair. Amber Eyes. Trademark accessory: Beanie/Hood with Goggles. Her clothes consist of steampunk outfits, clothes that have hoods or just clothes she feels like wearing. No matter what outfit she wears, she always wears her goggles either on her neck, head or wears it on. She also wears a hood on and if she doesn't have hood, she wears a beanie unless it's hot with her hair in a high ponytail. Her hair pasts her shoulders but above the hips and inches past the waist. Her height? 5'5 ft. Somewhat athletic. Also wears an retractable roller shoes.​

Aegis is a person who's not very good at staying in one place. She's adventurous, wanting to taste the independence and traveling to the fullest, she's a bit impatient when she's hold up unless it was important. Childish from time to time, however, joyfully energetic and possible obnoxious depending on the one dealing with her.

She hates snobs and rich people or any people with a bad attitude who doesn't show respect and people who mistreat Pokemon and is blunt about it. It does get her in trouble, but in the end, escapes out of it unscathed. Aegis is brave, such as trying to stop an nasty fight, either that or stupid. Or just plain bored, it's mostly the latter. She can get rough. A sort of cool punk.

A girl with an archaeology heart. Her hometown museum and gym leader, Lenora, along with Sr. Prof. Juniper, had an influence at her interests when she was young. And so the secrets of Pokemon does entice her and the love of wanting to know more about Pokemon had made her desire to go on adventure to learn what more the mysterious of the world has to show. Although she loves archaeology, history, fossils and the like, she also has different interests and express an interest in something that might die down later, showing that she might be fickle in terms of interests and goals. Most of all, she loves adventures and her goals might change. Who knows?

She thinks her Pokemon are cute, it is easy to tell that her taste are... a bit odd, considering some of the Pokemon that she has. No matter what people say, she'd forever think of them as cute and strong and very dependable, presenting a more stubborn side of her.

A rather straight-forward person and sometimes rash, there are times when she knows not to screw up and think more clearly, showing that she can be mature... possibly. She can get overwhelmingly crazy. And as always, she goes somewhere random so long as she gets to move, don't be surprised not see her in one spot after you come back from buying an sofa just a few feet away. Even in important meetings.

(All you need to do is to hold her own, she'd struggle until you convince her, it'd take a bit and reasons as to why she shouldn't go somewhere yet.)

Aegis also likes to tease people, at times she teases so much and so many times that the situation can get ugly and that teased someone might blow up a fume, in which case, she'd be sheepish and maybe apologize. As well as a bit mischievous, she loves getting entertainment. She has tact... well, sort of. She won't make fun of someone who has serious troubles, such as phobias.

Winning or losing doesn't matter to her! If she loses, that's fine, she and her Pokemon would have to get stronger. If she wins, either way, she and her Pokemon will still train more and get even stronger. A positive girl with high optimism. (Or does she...?)

Surprisingly, Aegis is rather studious and devoted about certain subjects. Such as her interests. She's a person who want to learn more, the secrets, mysteries and the infinite potential of the World of Pokemon.

At the age of three, Aegis was an curious child. She would go to where she thinks is interesting to go to and such, disappears when you don't keep an eye on her and check from time to time, there were many times she gave her parents or the people babysitting her an almost heart attacks. It certainly seems that this trait is something that she carries as she grew up.

Her mother had worked for Professor Jupiter's father, Cedric Juniper as one of his assistants, she had introduced her to him, one day, and everything went downhill, Cedric was the one who sparked the interest of having an adventure, the descriptions and details he had found one of his research had her captivated, mouth in a perfect 'o' shape, eyes brightening.

Aegis wanted stories of what they have discovered, she wanted to hear more, she wanted to learn more. The stories she was hearing whether told by Cedric and Mom made her want to go on a journey too! The secrets, stuff that no one has ever known until now, everything, it sounded so exciting! And so she had asked if she can also do that stuff and have Pokemon. The Senior Juniper laughed and said Yes! You can! Just ask your mom for permission, okay?

And so she did ask her mom. The older woman looked down at her and softly smiled. "When you're older, you'll go on adventures too. You'll have to wait for now." But Aegis wanted to, badly! Can she at least have a Pokemon?! Mother laughed, patted her head. "Be patient, my sweet, you will have one." The little troublemaker grumbled, puffing her cheeks but acquiesced, reluctantly.

She spent her days being the rascal that she is, her family did their best to occupy her with stuff that would drain her energy lest she disappeared somewhere again. Her aunt who was visiting from Sinnoh took her to the Nacrene Museum just few feet from home. It was the best decision ever, Aegis would say.

Her eyes greedily scanned every fossil, every historical treasures, every ancient artifacts, the thirst to know more, to see more grew and grew. Aegis quickly became one of their common visitor, she was almost everywhere, looking at all the displays with her amber eyes, the obviousness that she was in love. Lenora knew, the Nacrene Museum Director had taken her under her wing, or that's what others says. Maybe it's true, Aegis would answer if asked; that Lenora helped her fell in love with archaeology, taught her knowledge, the difference, why it was unique and listened to her opinion and rambles. In a way, Lenora was her very own teacher and she a student who absorbed every word.

Then came her first Pokemon, given by her Mom herself: A Mawile. Let's just say they didn't get along at first. It was because a clash of personalities. 3 weeks of not getting along; Aegis was too energetic and always impulsive to go somewhere, Mawile was too serious at the time, too distance and unfamiliar with humans. Mom forced them together in a room to settle things, it took awhile but things finally settled down; they slowly formed a friendship bond, they learn to deal with each other, Mawile could keep Aegis in one spot, Aegis had showed Mawile that you can also have fun and that she could be mature... kind of. They toned each other down, guess they should thank the Mother.

The moment they became friends, Aegis named her Mawile: Artemis. She thought it suited her, Mawile agreed. They trained, they got to know each other more, they studied archaeology together, they researched, they battled, they won, they lost, they did everything together and it made them closer.

At the age of 14, the energetic girl had set the sails, she went on a journey together with Artemis. Three years of exploring Unova, most especially the caves, capturing Pokemon and becoming friends, along with defeating Gym Leaders, stormed in the League Conference and managed to get the position of Top 2.

Aegis eventually decided to go to Sinnoh to visit her Aunt and then at the middle, decided to explore the Sinnoh as well, with the exception of battling Gym Leaders (she only got to defeat three of the eight gym leaders along the way), it was only a year though. Aegis and Mawile became even more close.

Her Mother called her, saying she found something important that would the test the bond between the two, not saying that she spent 2 years finding that something. So the girl who was now 18 went to home. Mom gave her a stone and key.

Fascinated, she listened as Mom told her the story of Mega Stones, a stone that helps certain Pokemon evolve even further and one of them is Mawile, one one condition, they must have a strong bond. Looking at the each other, the Trainer and the Pokemon had their eyes light up. they both thought the same: I wanna try it! Excitedly, they challenged the Mother of the household. Cecile accepted with a smile, she already knew that their bond as strong and bright as the sun.

The moment Mawile mega evolved was one of the best, magnifying day of their life.

After the battle and after dinner, her Mother gave her the invitation to go to the Kalos Region, apparently, a friend of her's she met through the Professor of the Unova, currently the daughter of Cedric Juniper whom she started to worked with, needed more aides to help him. His name is Professor Sycamore and he researches Mega Stones, Cecile says. That is why I asked you if you want to help, you can use Mega Evolution now, darling. He was also the one who helped Aegis' mother to find the stone and now it was in her possession.

Why not? Answered Aegis, standing up and slamming down her hands onto the table, eyes glittering. I'm going! More adventure! Also I need to repay him a lot! Cecile knew she would, a Mother knows her Daughter well.

The girl, brimming with energy as usual, went to the Kalos Region to become one of Sycamore's aides, taking one Pokemon she had caught from Unova and Sinnoh, and so with many hard decision, Aegis took Smoothy and Boomer along. She had suggested on her own that she wanted to go around Kalos, even for a while, to master Mega Evolution and get stronger, most especially, their bond even more. She would still help, by exploring the caves and find more secrets, especially about Mega Stones. He agreed. 2 years later, Aegis caught an Inkay affectionately called 'Squidward' evolving to Malamar and beat all of the Kalos Gym Leaders.

• Mawile's stone is located on her neck in a simple bow choker that has the same color as her jaws while Aegis' key is located on her upper left strand of hair close to the eye in the form of a barrette
• She has a keen sense of vision, hearing, and smell than any other normal humans, something she inherited from her dad (it does have disadvantages, her eyes gets irritated and also the reason why she has goggles)
• Shown to have an interest in inventing.
• Sometimes relies on her 'instincts', it doesn't mean a necessarily good thing all the time though...

"WHY IS IT SO HARD TO CHOOSE?!"

An loud feminine voice cried out in frustration coming from one of the houses in Nacrene City, craning stares at said house, startled on how abrupt that was, confused as to what's going on and amused recognizing who that voice belonged to before making their merry way.

"Dear, keep your voice down!" There was another voice, reprimanding the first one it seems, also feminine and sounding parts amused, parts exasperated.

"Gaaah."

The first voice grumbled, slumping behind down to the ground on her back, hair splaying with two pokeballs clutched in her two hands. "It's so hard to choose, I love them all." She drawled the 'l' of the word all, jutting her lower lip in a pout. There were feet walking to her, stopping at her side, the feet were small and black, covered with a yellow fur-like skirt, the owner of the feet was smaller than a human and has a jaw on the back of their head.

It was...

"Mawile."

Artemis.

The deceiver pokemon plopped down next to her human partner, reaching out to hold a pokeball and inspecting it. Maybe she was helping Aegis to decide? The blonde girl grinned at that, swaying straight up to a sitting position and crossed her legs without missing a beat she questioned, "What do you think?"

There were so many to choose from that even Mawile was having a hard time deciding. And so the two bestest best of friends and soulmates! in Aegis' words thought about it and thought about it and thought about it more... but still couldn't decide.

"Mawile maw mawile wile maw?" Artemis shot a question of her own. Any other humans wouldn't understand what she asked, maybe some of them would or could take a guess, however, Aegis perfectly understood everything the Mawile said. Simply because they have a very close bond that transcends beyond best friends.

"Mhm, I don't want to bring them all because it's a new adventure and I don't wanna have six pokemon from the get-go, it's more fun that way!" Aegis answered with an cheerful tone that said it was only that simple.

Artemis shot her a look, "Mawile wile?"

The human trainer drooped at that, hunching a bit as she answered with a subtle pout, "Yeah, even though I just wanna take everyone, I can't and as much I love these little cutie pies, I'm still sticking into what I set myself to do." There was a resolution in her voice, adamant on her decision, "I remember the first time I set to Sinnoh, it's the exact situation like this."

Hearing what Aegis said had given her an idea, you could even hear the 'ding!' sound of a lightbulb turning on, in a sense if you know what I mean. "Mawile maw mawile maw maw mawile maw wile!" Artemis sounding eagerly suggested, to help her trainer and to solve this difficult quest.

The human of the two brighten, "Oh wow, Mawile, you're right! I can choose one Pokemon from each region I had caught them! Which means only two: one from Unova, one from Sinnoh! Like I did on Sinnoh where I only took McSassy with me!" Now she was very enthusiastic, turning to her pokemon partner with a grin, "You're the best, Artemis!" The compliment made the steel pokemon blush, abashed.

And then Aegis turned back to the pokeballs before them, her grin fading as she blinked, the next words that she voiced out made the Mawile sigh, "...Who do we choose though?"

Well, back to the drawing board.

...At least they found an easy (yet still hard) solution to the problem of theirs, that counts right...?​
