    Though Tales of the Abyss has been out since late last year in Japan, Namco Bandai promises exclusive content for the US release in the fall of this year. We don't know what that content will be yet, but we look forward to spending more time with this game and unveiling more of its secrets as we learn them.
    YES! Tales of the Abyss confirmed! :D

    Any Tales of fan should buy this on day 1! Honestly I thought it wouldn't make it after Tales of Lenegdia bombed so hard here in the US. It's so much better then Tales of Legendia and it's from the same team at Namco who made Tales of Symphonia. :)

    Sweet. This means they'll probably bring Tales of the Tempest her too.

    zomgyay~

    I was a maaaajor fan of Tales of Symphonia, but I just can't get into Legendia. But I've heard such good things about Abyss, so I'm really glad they're going to bring it over. Can't wait. :D

    ToL wasn't THAT bad. It got a decent rating, so I don't know what gives you the impression that it "bombed".

    ToA sounds promising, and it looks interesting, but I doubt it will measure up to ToS plotwise.

    It bombed because it couldn't even sell anywhere near what ToS did here in North America, I wasn't talking about the quality of the game there (I thought it was obvious when I said "here in North America" since the game's quality obviously didn't change that much when it was brought over). And ToL did not have a great plot, it was an average tales plot, it only got great after the story with all the characterization but you had to get through the plot to get to that. But Namco didn't help with the character interactions either since the localization wasn't that great. Anyway, overall it was a step back from Tales of Symphonia for sure so I'm gald Namco is also bringing Abyss and I hope that they spend some more time on the localization this time around.

    Yet ToS was the worst...ToL is not that much better...but combined they would make a sweet game... Can't wait for Abyss... but why do some of them end in "ia" shouldn't it be Tales of the Abyssia? Hmmmmmm?

    I had no idea there were so many Tales games...

    Which console is it on? Forgive my laziness, but I can't be bothered to do a search ^_^;;

    Abyss is on the PS2. :x

    I haven't actually looked into this game very much, but I was just browsing around today and ended up on the Japanese site...the character designs are really pretty, so now I really am excited about this. (My favourite part of Symphonia were its characters, and Kosuke Fujishima is back as the character designer, so yay~)

    I looked on IGN today, and I have to say, the screenshots look incredibly pretty ^_^ I wonder what the story will be like...

    I hope it reaches the UK as well.

    I believe Tales of Destiny was for the Playstation. There was a Tales of Destiny 2, but I don't think that was ever released in the US. The US Tales of Destiny 2 is actually Tales of Eternia. Another Tales game that hasn't been released in the US is Tales of Rebirth for the Playstation 2.
