Genevieve nodded her thanks as she took sthe bowl and slowly spooned some of the stew into her mouth. Before her second spoonful could reach her lips, she set down the bowl, and lifted her hood to shadow her face, in the already dim light.
"I'll..be right back."
Gene smiles apologetically, before stepping over to the back door, stepping unusually swiftly. She gently turns the door-knob and steps outside, letting the darkness consume her. A few moments later, a squeal can be heard...A small animal, strangled, maybe? Broken neck, no blood visible, yet...Giggling can be heard. Gene's muffled voice is heard through the door as she lets the dead body of a small animal fall to the ground, not even a mere fifteen feet from the door. She steps back into the building, her hood off, her hair fussy. Wiping her mouth on the back of her sleeve as she enters, she resumes her seat and returns to slowly eating her stew.
