"The Ultimate Test" Episode Discussion

Here is where you can discuss the Pokémon League Admissions Exam in "The Ultimate Test."

This episode is *hilarious*. Jessie, James and Ash doing the test at the start was hilarious, Jessie just put down the same answer for everything XD James remembering Magikarp was funny oh and James not recognising Jessie and calling her old was funny. When it came to the battles, i remember someone being at a disadvantage because the strength of Pokemon weren't really shared out fairly. Someone got all the Eeveelutions while someone else got a bunch of unevolved Pokemon.

HAHA, I REMEMBER THIS EPISODE! ASH WAS FAIL, ASH WAS FAIL, AHAHAHAHAA!!!

I remember Ash, Jessie and James failed during the "Guess the Pokemon" segment, and Jessie was disqualified/quit herself, Ash got Arbok, Weezing and Meowth as his team, and James got a Pikachu, Ivysaur and Charizard (Am I right?) as his team.

This episode was awesome, but the fighting parts were unbalanced at best. The teacher got all the advantages.

Well, he didn't get ALL the advantages. The teacher did lose to Weezing, after all. And, technically, using Flareon against Weezing is a bad move, as it's a fire type, whileas Weezing is a gas pokemon (which, use flames too close, it explodes in it's face and receives a draw, if not a loss.)

I remember this episode! The one where they were all taking the tests and stuff, right? I forget some of it, but I do remember it, like the Jigglypuff from above and stuff.

I also remember there was a poster in the background of the room where they had to sign up, and the poster had the days of the week written in Japanese. I suppose 4Kids forgot to censor that XD

I remember this episode. I still have it. It was quite a unique episode. It was fun to see Ash take a school like exam and I liked James in this episode. That guy's accent was unique, however. I liked it.

James made it so worth it. He was so over-the-top, and...

"Thundershock, Thunderbolt! I've been so shocked by Pikachu's attacks, I know them all by heart! Mwahahaha!"

Paraphrasing, but you get the idea. So wonderfully spazzy.
