Hi. I'm a fervent atheist who saw there was no club where we who do not believe in the existence of a greater being could join and unite against the evils of conservatist evangelicals ranting that were going to "Hell". So, I am starting this club. Here are teh rules.

    1) No FLAMING ABOUT ANYTHING
    2) No Politics
    3) Be respectful of all religions. Just because we don't believe in a god or multiple gods doesn't mean it is bad to. I, for example, celebrate Jewish culture, but I DEFINITELY do not believe in God.
    4) Don't sign-up and never post again. However, I might forget, so I'll chosse co-owners to help run it when I'm busy on my other forum sites. I belong to like... 5.
    5) If a mod posts something, obey it.
    6) Enjoy it.
    7) If you just post to insult atheists, go burn in your hypothetical hell, you intolerant a-hole.
    8) Its okay to say Oh God, or OMG- they've become pop culture. Howeve,r its also fine if you don't. Just taking some pressure off.
    9) You don't need to be fervent- moderation is okay.
    10) This ISN"T Buddhism Club, so no buddhist mantras or anything. i do respect, however, how powerful this atheist movement has become- most people, especially evangelicals, hate us.

1st Post (Optional) Why are you an atheisyt? (NOT HOW YOU BECAME AN ATHEIST, but WHY!!!)

I became an atheist because my inner logic told me that, if its not provable by science, it can't be true. over time, as i became suicidal (I speculated first in 4th grade), I continued to doubt a God. In 6th grade, I finally decided to myself that there is no God at all, anywhere, at any past or future time, in any situation. This was furthered by seeing the injustices the pseudo-theocracy of Bush has levied upon the U.S.
