*points up several posts* I promised you a cookie if you posted. You posted. I gave you a cookie. Actually, you posted twice. *hands over another cookie* No catch, just cookies. ^^
@dc_united;; Basically, the ship docked, Chris gave us a lovely motivational speech, and we all set out for Chipper City, split into two groups (one headed by Isabel and Chris, the other led by Beo and Greg). But unless I'm mistaken, Greg and Beo seem kind of alone in their group, so you may want to find them. ^^
I would post now, but my sister wants the computer. Curses.
Hmm... Since it appears as though I won't be getting in the way of too many travel posts, I'll go ahead and work on the arrival x3 As soon as my brain decides to start working at at least 10%... *stares blankly*
So, just a heads up, college starts this week, and-- perhaps more time consuming-- my 6 dance classes start next week. So if I post a little slow sometimes, that's why until I adjust to the new schedule.
I just lost my entire post when I tried to post it. I really want to strangle something right now... >< Though in rewriting it, I realized that "new" is a rather strange word. Anyway, it's just some fluff about Audrey's thoughts going of on another tangent, and then more of Audrey being oblivious. I kinda enjoy how much she fails at life. xD
You're welcome for the cookie~ *noms on one herself*
omg.
Today I started working on a prototype drawing (aka crappy outline of a body in inkpen so I can use pencil and erase repeatedly) of Sheila's tattoos.
I have about 3 Pokemon drawn on her and I'm already going insane. @_@;;;
Okey-dokey, here's the sequel to the Uprising! I always seem to be late in joining, but at least this time I'm only, like, two pages behind rather than fifty, you know? So... I'm back~! And here's my signup.

Name: Rosary (Sar) Camellia Ryan Age: 20 Gender: Female
Appearance: Her appearance had changed drastically since partaking in the rebellion three years ago - so much so, that it was doubtful that those who'd known her back then wouldn't recognise her now.
When she was younger, she had died her hair deep blue in a mini rebellion against her father. However, she had let it grow out naturally and cut it short so that her hair, a sandy blonde colour with orange and brown streaks, reached halfway down her neck and flipped outwards at the ends. She had large, blue-gray eyes, long lashes, a small nose and high cheekbones, but her basic facial structure was masculine and her lips thin.
She was short and lean, not having grown at all despite her ravenous appetite and the amount of exercise that was demanded of her. Nevertheless, she was very fit and lightly tanned. Her casual attire consisted usually of a long, grey overcoat thrown over a plain black shirt, black long-shorts, and sneakers. She only ever wore small, silver studs in her bellybutton and left lobe although she had numerous other piercings in her ears - a relic from her younger years. She was also never without a pair of blacked out sunglasses that completely covered her eyes and a couple of black, fingerless gloves.
Another necessity in her outfit was a black bag which rested against her right hip, the strap looping over her opposite shoulder. It contained no less than two pistols, numerous bullets, a first aid kit, and her emergency supply of food, water and potions, as well as a deep blue sweater. On her person she carried her official gun, her baton, her badge, her Pokeballs, and a few pairs of handcuffs.
Personality: She had always disliked orders and clung to independence. This meant that although she would help others when she deemed necessary, she would not accept any on her own behalf. She knew she was a hypocrite and had no qualms in being one. Lately, Sar had come to accept the fact that some orders really were sometimes for the best, but she figured it was her job to decipher which orders were worth obeying and which ones could be disobeyed. She gave none of her loyalty to the government, her superiors and her coworkers if she deemed them unworthy of it.
Once a person had Sar's respect, however, they couldn't find anybody trustworthier. She never left a friend behind and, as a rule, she didn't pry into the business of others as well as never letting things out of her confidentiality. Actually, unless she was mad, she didn't really talk much at all. She relied upon gestures most of the time, regarding words as fickle and often misunderstood, even when it wasn't meant to be. This was why she always looked into a person's eyes when they were talking to her – eyes didn't lie quite so easily. She despised liars, the manipulative, bullies, and certain cowards who would push their problems onto others and feel good about it. Sar thought that human's were naturally evil; every single person lied or used trickery to make the way a little easier for themselves to the detriment of those around them. She had gleaned this from experience and from the actions of her father who, despite the fact that it had been three years since she'd last seen him, still hovered in the back of her mind. This was why she had always had a slight fascination with people who were nice and sincere. She also had a maternal disposition towards young children and Pokemon, finding it easier to talk to them than to people in her own age group. She always seemed distant, and didn't make friends easily. So far, in her whole life, she only really had six; and five of them were her Pokemon.
History: She was brought up in a lovely little home in a small town of Katsu. Her mother had been a sweet, if rather young woman with a passion for flowers who would have been completely content to just stay at home and tend to the garden. Sar's father, on the other hand, had been a polar opposite. He had been brought up in a strict family that had regarded women as little more than domestic maids and had also believed in aliens, often trying to drag his family to the various sightings of space Pokemon located in far-off regions. When, for some reason, his wife refused to accompany him, he would go by himself for months at a time. As he grew older and they became more distant, he became more aggressive, arrogant and controlling. They divorced eventually, when Sar was seven. Her mother had left her in the custody of her father and she soon became bitter of the dictatorship he held in their house, coupled with his constant absence altogether. He would tell her that her mother hated her and never wanted to see her face again as well as constantly reminding his child that she was a failure. And so she pushed people away and found solace in Pokemon.
She found out that he was trading with illegal arms when she was thirteen and used to practice with them whenever her father went away on one of his trips. When the signs came up, however, condemning Pokemon and anything to do with them, her father had been one of the foremost to obey. He had gone into her room just as she finished packing her supply bags, threatening to shoot her or her filthy Pokemon. This left Sar no choice but to run away, wildly hoping that there were some people who didn't wish to obey the governments crazy demands just because they demanded it.
After several weeks of travelling, she arrived at the last place that didn't cave to the government, Frosty Gorge, almost immediately before the Uprising's famous last stand had taken place. She participated in the battle although she hadn't actually been acknowledged as a member by the leader and fell unconscious by the end of it. She was transported to Johto by a friend and set off to find who she really was. Ironically, despite her loathing of figures of authority and her experience with PXS, she became a police officer. In spite of her proficiency with guns, her ability to keep her cool, sort disputes, and her high success rate in tracking and capturing criminals, she had never gotten above the post of a constable due to her slight disregard for the importance of orders.

Flamer gave a low whistle, impressed by the maze of a town around him. Certainly, he'd visited Fortree before, years ago, but the town had expanded considerably since then. He couldn't tell the time, with the greenery overhead blotting out the sky, but from the gathering crowd around the base of the conference center, the meeting would start soon. From his vantage point on one of the wooden bridges connecting several tree houses, there seemed to be a lot of friction between the Utopianists and Technocrats, their respective members gossiping like a bunch of housewives. He frowned slightly. Whatever he was getting into, it was a purely political type of thing and therefore not much interest to him except the money he got out of being here.
There was a yawn next to his ear, and he turned to grin at the Misdreavus resting on his shoulder. Trickery looked back sleepily, detecting the restlessness underneath them but unaffected by it. Flamer looked at the houses and bridges, this time with the eyes of a performer instead of a tourist. He could probably put on a great show with the layout of the buildings and trees. It would be slightly dangerous, but then, what wasn't? It was too bad he didn't have the time to choreograph an entire show right then, or he'd be blissfully throwing himself into the money-making practice.
What he could do, however, was check to see if a few things were valid. Immediately, he flung himself between the safety ropes and underneath the bridge itself. He dangled from his arms, grinning as he contemplated the almost definitely fatal drop that would greet him should he fall. He let go with one arm and grabbed onto the next piece of wood, repeating the process to move forwards. It was like the monkey bars that he had never been allowed to play on back in his childhood. Trickery was now floating by herself, keeping near just in case he did drop. After several more experimental swings, he slid so that he was on one side of the bridge and moved an arm to grab the bridge from above, his other arm following suit, and heaved himself upwards. That would be a great addition to any performance he would set up in Fortree. He just had to stylize it, add some special effects and fire and make it look as if it was easier than breathing to perform. Magic, his Houndoom, kept up his relentless pacing, whining every now and then in an effort to communicate that he was incredibly bored indeed.
Just as he stood up with a large grin on his face, a Scyther and Heracross leapt out of the greenery and attacked each other, presumably over territory or food. What was interesting was that they were forced to inhibit their instinctive need to fight by the Utopianists. This caused quite a stir among the gathered people and it was turning into an argument. Unfortunate 'significant pause' type of accidents, huh? That was going to be harder than he thought. The group preparing to attend the congregation looked about ready to try and slap their own views onto each other. Several looked as if they were ready to slit throats.
He shrugged, wondering why people were so bloody fired up every time anybody had the nerve to speak of 'religion'. Flamer beckoned to the two visible Pokemon by his side. Fool was reveling in the glory of being in his natural habitat.
"Come on, let's get down before we miss the real fun, eh?" He joked, leading them ever downwards. Trickery settled herself down on his shoulder again, eyes closing as she prepared to catch herself a nap, and Magic gave a short bark, happy to have something to do.
Quickly, they came to the base of the massive tree that was being used to hold the meeting itself. An agent passed through to the interior, presumably on some top-secret mission as the employed thugs of the government. He knew he was being slightly biased, but he'd had several bad run-ins with the group and had no wish to increase the number. True, he wasn't much better, being a prawn of the rich, but he had some measure of freedom at least.
There was some purposeful movement among the general milling about. He decided to just stay put until anything more interesting came up. As soon as Magic saw his intent, he shot off into the crowd in the hopes of bumping into any interesting Pokemon or people.
Pokemon –
Spoiler:
Nickname: Burr Species: Raticate Gender: Male Moves: Shadow Ball, Hyper Fang, Super Fang, Protect Appearance: The only physical characteristic separating Burr from other Raticates was his tail, or slight lack of one. It ended in a stump, less than half the length it should have been. The fur around his muzzle was also starting to gray from age and his whiskers drooped a little. Personality: In spite of his age, the Raticate still loved meeting new people and being busily helpful, regardless of how many times his trainer told him to be careful of strangers. Unlike Sar, Burr was always curious and in motion. He was cheerful and rather optimistic and knew Sar the best out of everybody in the world. He always wanted Sar to find more human friends and often teasingly encouraged her to get a nice, steady boyfriend. History: Burr used to spend his days scavenging for rotten food and milk so old that it could get up and walk away by itself. His tail was cut in half when he barely escaped a mousetrap but luckily, somebody brought him to the Pokecenter from which he promptly ran away. When Sar was nine years old and friendless, she came across him scurrying in to eat food from their cupboards. If her neat-freak of a father had found him, the then-Ratatta would probably have needed another prolonged visit to the Pokemon center. Of course, anything her father disliked, Sar had an interest in and they soon became fast friends.
Nickname: Tock Species: Hoothoot Gender: Female Moves: Extrasensory, Hypnosis, Air Slash, Dream Eater Appearance: Appearance-wise, Tock was much like a normal Hoothoot although her eyes almost always seemed blank and unfocused. Personality: This Hoothoot loved to paint, no matter that she could usually paint nothing more than claw marks. She wasn't very social and was very apathetic in all matters not involving paint or Sar, giving the same response to every type of person and situation – a round-eyed stare and a baleful hoot. She didn't want to evolve because sometime during her life, she had gotten the notion that it would symbolise a change which would eventually cause her to lose Sar. History: One day, a thirteen-year-old Sar came home late at night, after avoiding her father the entire afternoon, to find that a Hoothoot had flown in through the window, and was just hopping lazily on her bed, red and blue claw marks on her walls. From the first moment that it gave her the stare and hoot, they forged a strange relationship with each other.
Nickname: Dynamite (Nammy) Species: Raichu Gender: Male Moves: Thunder Wave, Brick Break, Volt Tackle, Thunderbolt Appearance: He was slightly smaller, slimmer and more agile than most Raichu, with larger ears than normal for his size. He also had a large, red scar cut across his left hind leg. Personality: Nammy was blindly loyal to anybody whom he considered a friend, following them to the pits of hell and never asking questions. He would risk his life for his them, although he sometimes confused obstinate stupidity with courage, and could be extraordinarily stubborn. He prided himself on his loyalty and even though he was rather quick to decide whether most people were his friends, he would be grievously insulted if anybody except his owner questioned that decision. History: As a Pichu, he was adopted by a small boy, but as the costs of owning him became too great as he evolved, he was abandoned. Alone for the first time since he was hatched, he tried in vain to beg for scraps. He had come to hate the other Pokemon who had kind trainers and normal lives, when somebody finally fed him and took him in again - a PXS member. This person gave him a Thunderstone to evolve into Raichu, and ordered him to take all the Pokemon it could find and hand them over. Raichu was glad to obey until he learnt that they were being led to imprisonment. He couldn't disobey PXS for fear of facing the same fate the others had been led to, until a boy and his Pikachu rescued him. They told him he couldn't join them, but he could join one of the other trainers from the Uprising. Immediately, he had been attracted to Sar and, although she had tried her best to ignore him and told him to find somebody else numerous times, was accepted and given a name after the battle at Frosty Gorge.
Nickname: Wilt Species: Ariados Gender: Female Moves: Spider Web, Psychic, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Sneak Appearance: The two yellow and purple spikes protruding from her back are longer and the pincers at her mouth are larger than usual as well. Otherwise, she was ordinary. Personality: Generally, she was a sly, aggressive Pokemon, quick to insult and to take offense. She didn't even bother hiding the fact that she was an all-around unpleasant Bug-and-Poison-type, secure in the knowledge that she didn't give a damn what others thought or how they acted. Unless, of course, it was in relation to Sar or her Pokemon. Almost comically, her personality seemed to flip when she was dealing with the small and select group of who she deemed her family. Towards them, and them only, she took on the persona of an overbearing, over-protective and gentle but firm mother-figure even though she was actually the youngest in the team. History: Wilt had, as a Spinarak, lived quite comfortably in a bathroom of a cheap motel. Whenever somebody happened to rent the room, she would spin a fine web in the doorway and spray them with a String Shot to make sure they got the message and didn't disturb her. When Sar rented the motel however, and got caught in the trap, she didn't leave her alone or call somebody to exterminate her or try to catch her. Instead, she just sat outside the bathroom door and rolled a couple of berries into her web as Burr told her the story of the Uprising, decorating it and adding bits on so that it seemed as if ten people held off an army of ten-thousand evil minions for hours before their reinforcements came... and went. When they had exhausted the story until even Nammy was tired of hearing it, Sar had asked her one simple question; "Are you lonely?" Somehow, she found herself travelling with them afterward, complaining all the while, before they accepted each other.
Nickname: Sherry Species: Quagsire Gender: Female Moves: Muddy Water, Water Pulse, Earth Power, Aqua Tail Appearance: Like any other female Quagsire, the fins on her back are smaller than if she was a male. Personality: Sherry was very simple, but this didn't mean she was stupid. She thought in a simple way; if there was a problem, remove it or make it better. If there's a misunderstanding, talk so that they can understand. Her world was made of clear-cut, black and white boundaries. She knew what was right, and what was wrong, and that the road to comfort and happiness was in following what was right. She never got angry or upset but she did, in the most extreme cases of violated trust, become disappointed. She didn't talk much, but what she did say could be considered either pearls of wisdom or the blabbering of an idiot. History: Sherry had been caught by a fisherman, eating his captured fish. Since you couldn't eat a Wooper, on account of it being morally unacceptable, he sold it to some up and coming trainer, who then traded her for a Vulpix. The second trainer, a girl, trained her every day until she evolved before abandoning her outside the house of some Pokemon-friendly family because she hadn't expected Sherry to look so ugly. Instead of waiting for somebody to come and find her, she went exploring by herself before getting picked up by a travelling salesman who dragged her along, named her Sherry, and offered to sell her to any passer-by for a rather ridiculous amount of money. It turned out that he had been buying, selling and stealing illegal properties when Sar arrested him. She let all the Pokemon go, expecting them to go back to the wild. A day later, she came by the exact same spot and found Sherry still standing there. So Sar had consulted her Pokemon and they reached a decision to take Sherry along, with Wilt the only one who voted against it. She'd stayed with Sar ever since.
Sweet_Dreams: Looks great. You're accepted. If Sar feels like obeying orders, it would probably be preferable to go in the Greg and Beo's "group". I don't want them to get too lonely x3
Hm... I think I'll meet them by accident, if that's alright with you? It's all the same, anyway. I just can't see Sar being too willing to go back to the Uprising, but she'll come round. :P
Ah! Should I post the SU on the main thread? Although I think that if I do, it'd break the flow of the rp? I could do what I did last time and tell people to look here instead...
Hey, guys. I'll be leaving on a trip tomorrow and I won't be back until Monday. If there's anything you want to get done before we arrive in Chipper City, I suggest you do so before I return. I place the default backup leaders in charge without asking them first (sorry x3). Just make sure the RP doesn't explode, k?
please imagine her face a little longer and older looking. i tried many times to correct it but it didn't work
Appearance: Ashi's dismally uncolourful attire is no more. She now wears something a little more colourful, including a large, cargo coat, with a yellow star on the left sleeve, a black and white singlet top and a pair of blue denim shorts. Her PokéBeads are also gone, with one remaining as a necklace and the rest of her Pokémon carried in the bag on her maroon belt. Her eyes are a dark brown and her hair is dark silver, held into place by a loose braid, which falls to about mid-torso.
Personality: Ashi still holds a somewhat "I don't really care what you think" attitude, now softened after the 3 year gap. She now gives limited attention out and talks more, but still hates younger trainers and members. When needed, Ashi takes charge of the situation and tries to lead others as a senior member of the Uprising. She has a tenancy to overreact, but has a soft-side for her family, Pokémon and partner. Although not so cut out on revenge, Ashi still hates the PXS and her main goal is to bring peace to Katsu.
Background: Ashi is an ex-gym leader of Katsu, specialising in the dark type. After an attack on her gym, Ashi swore vengeance on the PXS and anyone involved with them. She spent 2 years in Hoenn only to venture back to Katsu and join the Uprising so that she could one day achieve her goal of destroying the PXS.
After her adventures with the Uprising and their split after the attack at Frosty Gorge, Ashi fled with her brother, Josh and a fellow half-member Sar to the Johto region, back home to her family. The three of them split, with Sar heading to some unknown and Josh back to his family (who had recently moved back to Johto) and Ashi off to find new Pokémon around the world. After the attack at Frosty Gorge, she promised herself to never to let her Pokémon, friends or family ever be so close to death and she would protect those who she considered her own family.
During the gap, Ashi worked as a courier, never staying in the same place twice. Whilst in Blackthorn City, delivering a Pokémon, she met Alastor Rigby, the receiver of the package. Alastor told her that the Pokémon had been shipped from Katsu and was a surviver from a great battle at Frosty Gorge. After letting slip she had been at Frosty Gorge, Alastor asked her more about it and before she knew it, she was telling him about how she had been a gym leader and a member of the Uprising. Alastor now joins Ashi as her boyfriend and irreplaceable partner.
Three years later, she returns with new Pokémon, new clothes and a new partner ready to join the Uprising again.

Spoiler:
Ashi's head snapped around as she heard gunshots echo from the other end of the tunnel. There was trouble coming and Isabel and Audrey hadn't caught up yet. Her heart started to race as others in the tunnel turned around to see what happened, although they were underground and the gunshots came from above, at the gym. What could they do now? They had no options left but to run, and the PXS were closing in. Only thing she could do was hurry. The exit was near, she could see the pothole about 100 or so metres away.. But that wasn't good enough.
"Lone, we have to be fast. Ice the roof, now!" Ashi pointed at the roof as she pulled all of her PokéBalls off and released all of her Pokémon. She really hoped her plan would work. Lone looked at her with worried eyes as she realised what she was trying to do. She joined her fellow Pokémon to help, they needed as much power as possible.
"Okay, listen up!" Ashi yelled to the group that had been following her. "We're gonna bust out of here before we get killed. The PXS know where we are and we need to get out of here, and fast. I need everyone to release every Pokémon capable of battle. Don't worry, we're not fighting. See up on the roof? Everyone aim an attack at the roof and get out of the way when it collapses. Ready?"
The group started releasing Pokémon. Several had cuts, scrapes and bruises, but still wanted to put in the power. She could tell several people were hesitant in her plan. She didn't blame them; she was too.
"Okay, here we go! Everybody ready? On three. One. Two. THREE!" At three Pokémon launched their strongest attacks at the roof. The roof exploded, a giant hole now where the ice had been. It wouldn't stay like that for long, as Ashi feared the tunnel might collapse.
"OKAY! Now let's get OUT OF HERE!" Bird Pokémon flew up, trainers scampered out, returning their Pokémon as they ran in the opposite direction. The attack had surprised the PXS as they fell over of the shock of the explosion. But Ashi didn't have time to see what they did next. She jumped onto Invisi, holding Sar tight, and told them to fly up, returning all of her other Pokémon. Alex followed and together they escaped Frosty Gorge, with bullets whizzing past them as the flew off towards the clouded sun. She watched the other Uprising members escape. They would all be fine. Ashi had taken the liberty in throwing up several potions as the Pokémon fired, spraying their contents onto every Pokémon when the roof exploded.
"To Johto," Ashi yelled at Alex and Invisi. "We're going home."
