the watches

not sure if there is a common name for these things, but most of them are watches so that's what I'm gonna call them. I refer of course to the devices you receive in certain games (usually to take advantage of dual screen functionality) - the Pokégear, PokéNav, Pokétch, C-Gear, and possibly some more that I'm forgetting. All of them introduce some interesting and unique features, many of which are exclusive to that particular watch. For example, the Pokégear had a built-in Radio, and the Pokétch had a variety of interesting plugins.

Which features do you like the best? Do you have a favorite watch overall?

and if there is a collective term for them besides "watches" someone please let me know lmao

I really liked that one just for the step counter haha. Wanted to see how high I could get it, and I did manage to max it out if I recall correctly.

The Poketch was the best, I loved the app that showed the health and status of my team, that came in handy sometimes. But yeah, in general I really like the watch thingys.

Pokétch has so many fun apps that easily makes it my favourite of the lot. I like using the Daycare App, Step Counter, and the Friendship Checker mostly. There were a few other apps that I didn't get to download, though. D:

I'd loved the poketch wayyyyy too much, I swear I would just stare at it for a hour haha. I'd also loved the PokéRadio in HGSS, very entertaining :)

But I really hated the gear in XY & BW, idk it got annoying to me.
