The japanese name sucks. So, I'm thinking metapods. Trancel.

Toxin
sugardust
sprite (a magical fairy-something)
Butters (from South Park)
bird food
Butterflyman : )
Farore (from LoZ)
Navi (from LoZ), alternatively, "Tael" and "Tatl", all three are fairies
"Wind Djinn" <- I would personally give my butterfree this name because "Djinn" is such a cool word

Skarmory-"MetalBooby" - booby-a bird / and it sounds funny
Skitty- ("Pussy-Cat", but with the two words reversed) - from Austin Powers:
"I never forget a pussy....................................cat" XD
Mantine-"Man Clean" - rhymed and sounded erotic XD
Larvitar-"IceBreaker" - ice pokemon suck and tyranitar doesn't
Eevee-"VEET"- alternatively, "Velvet" or "Velveeta" or "Velveteen"
Sunkern-"FunkyFresh"- from a song/
or use it on a smelly pokemon like Muk
Altaria-"Alternaria"
Vibrava-"TraprKeepr"-from South Park; sounded cool, like "Keeper of the Traps"
Quagmire-"Quagmarine"
Natu-"Astro Natu"
Medicham-"Space Jam"- the "cham" in "medicham" always bothered me...
Togetic-"Spritite"
Shuckle-"Suckle"
Metagross-"TetraBeldi"-meaning "Four Beldums"
Bayleef-"Bronthern"-Alternatively, "Bronthorn"
Feraligatr-"Pokesuchus"-meaning "Pokemon Crocodile"
Anorith-"Anus-Sith"- Star Wars, "Sith"
Raikou-"Metrosexuo"- Raikou looked like it had fashion advice from the Queer Guys.
Jumpluff-"PopinFresh"
Forretress-"Metal Gear"- looks like he does, doesn't he?
Sneasel-"Manyula"-I thought Manyula was a cool name, somewhat feminine, but still cool
Barboach-"Barbwire"
Lunatone-"Venom"-looked evil, and looked like an air-fighter
Lileep-"Lilith"
Pelipper-"Flican"- from "Flipper" and "Pelican" i only mentioned because i used to use it to fly.
Feebas-"Milosh"(pronounced [MEE-loesh])- heard from Seinfeld/ a Seinfeld character
now i don't know the correct spelling, but it sounded nice and stuck to me
Claydol-"Teapotmon"-Claydol resembled a digimon that in turn resembled a teapot : )
Breloom-"PARASITH"- Star Wars- "Sith"
Regice-"RegisFilmn"- The word,"Regice" reminded me of "Regis" as in Regis Filbin(or however his name is spelled)

Here are some NM with no particular inspiration:
Miltank-"Taumank"
Kecleon-"Keneleon","Enigneon"
Clamperl-"SLAMPERL"
Torkoal-"MAGOISE"- to resemble "Blastoise"
Slugma-"Diarrhea"
Manectric-"Anodeon","Cathodeon"-replacements for Jolteon-but now i have Jolteon, so...
Kadabra-"Cadaver-a"
Beldum-"Beamos"-from LoZ, but now it's a Metagross, so i screwed up.

Well that's all i have i hope you found something interesting!

PS: hey, what?, I just noticed you name Feebas Milosh, just thought to let you know that that's a common name for people where I'm from ^.^ Every second guy I know is called Milosh ^.^ And the common nick for them is Misha :D
 
Well...Maybe this is offtopic, but I'm bringing some names for a Cacnea/Cacturne:

- Cactus.
- Cacto.
- Saboten. (Cactus, Japanese)
- Cactuar.
- Cactilio. (Spanish name for Cactuar)
- Sabotender. (Japanase name for Cactuar)
- Sabotendar. (Variation of Sabotender)
- Cactrot. (Another name for Cactuar)

Toxin? That makes Butterfree sound like its dangerous and deadly, which it's not.

Ghost Pokémon have a variety of moves to choose from, all which mean ghost in someway: Phantasm, Specter, Spook, Yokai (Japanese), Obake (Japanese), Shabah (Arabic), Geist (German), Morko (Finnish)

Nope. Sabotender means "Saboten Pretender".

Well..."Toxin" is more adeccuate for a Venomoth...

How about naming your blastoise Blastex? this is a cross between Blastoise and Kamex (the japanese name).

Does anybody have a good name for an articuno. i tried ice-wing but this sound a bit wierd.
