Ok i'm combining the original 8 ideas with the new ones. XD

1. They had to many chicks on the show already.
2.The person who did all the girl characters chests quit when they wanted that person to do Naraku's chest!
3. The girl that was going to do Naraku voice quite and only person that would fill in was a guy so they changed Naraku over.
4.They were going to get a guy to do naraku's voice because he could imitate a girl's voice but when they did the voice over he used his normal voice and they liked it sooo much they made Narakua a guy.
5. They decided Naraku wasn't a girl's name.
6. They plained for Naraklu to be a chick but some where a long the way some though they changed it so when every thing was put together(voice, anime, ect).. seemed more like a guy so they changed it.
7. They couldn't decided how she woulda dressed so she became a he cause guys were easier to pick cloths for.
8. Naraku as a chick gave them nightmares so they change Naraku to a guy.
9. On a sudden "spur of the moment" idea the guy in charge changed "her" to a him.
10. The guy in charge looked at some doodles of her as a guy and liked that better than the original Naraku.
11. The guy in charge was actualy a girl in charge and she wanted more male characters.
12. They were originally gonig to make the girl naraku like Inuyahsa but they already had a love triangle between Inu-Kagome-Kikyo so they made him a guy that liked Kikyo instead of a girl that liked Inu.

This is too much fun. I shouldn't enjoy being evil in this wayso much. Lol.

Back ontopic. I need to come up with more ideas of why they made naraku a guy that looks kinda alot like a girl. XD
 
lol DFLA though i think being evil you like. Any way we are beating up on a fake character that will never care that we did this so realy it is cool. Well to me any way XD

Though are good. I like that shading and the propotiond are just right. Nice pics flame_chi.
 
I'm telling you it's because he was originally supossed to be a girl! XD

Though it seems alot of guys have long hair in Inuyahsa. Koga, Sesshomaru, Naraku, Inuyahsa, etc. Though it does something for them in making them look hawt. Well it makes all of them cept Naraku look hawt. XD
 
True. I have noticed that while watching Inuyasha, Naroku doesn't look like he was supposed to be a guy. His figure seems too slim for a guy's. Plus his face is more feminine than masculine. He really looks more like a woman than his past self, Onigumo.
 
True. But the question is, why did they change him?
 
Maybe. But if so, why do that and still leave him looking a bit like one? They didn't want a female main villan?
 
Because they didn't want to remake the whole chays, they just changed it a bit. And I supose they thought a male villan was more threatening or something.
 
I'm a guy, but I'd like to see a female as the main villan in one anime.
 
Yeah. I've noticed in all the anime's I've watched, that hardly and female character's are the main boss. Though, maybe they should've left Naroku as a woman.
 
Yeah, if ever really was a woman they shoulda left him that way. *sigh* Oh well. There's always Kikyo but she's not truely really a villan and she's definately not the main villan.
 
True, but she's good enough for me^^ She's so hot! More so than Kagome in my opinion. *points to sig*
