4th Gen The "WTF" Moment Thread

I decided I was going to breed me some perfect IV pokemon earlier today, I was working on Larvitars for a team I'm building, everything was going normal, but when I got my egg from the Daycare man, took 3 steps away, he called said I had another egg, and sure enough, He had a second egg for me.

My Pokemans gotta learn to slow down...
 
I decided I was going to catch all of the legendary birds, just for the sake of it. Zapdos took ages - probably more than an hour's worth of SRing - and then I caught both Articuno and Moltres in the space of about 5 minutes, Arty in like my 3rd Ball and Moltres in the first @_@
 
I was in the battle frontier doing the place where the 1v1 battles are (battle hall I think, might be wrong). I'm 2 or 3 fights from fighting the frontier brain. I'm using a choice banded Flygon which is just OHKOing everything with EQ or outrage. Then I face a Charizard.

Flygon used outrage. Charizard hung on with its focus sash.
Charizard used airslash. Flygon takes 1/3 damage.
Charizard used protect.
Flygon used outrage. Charizard is protecting itself.
Charizard used protect.
Flygon used outrage. Charizard is protecting itself.
Flygon became confused.
Flygon is confused. Flygon hurt itself in its confusion, 1/3 damage.
Charizard used airslash. Flygon fainted.

Me:...Really?
 
My WTF was when I did a kadabra for kadabra trade. I put 21 and above as the level. I got a 41. sweet.
 
Let's see, I had a few of them today in my HG rom.
Growlithe used Bite
Cubone takes a little bit of damage and flinches
Growlithe used Btie
Cubone Flinched
Growlithe used Bite
Cubone Flinched
Growlithe used Bite
Cubone used Focus Energy
Growlithe used Bite
Cubone Fainted.
btw I was using the Growlithe

Then my Bayleef was about to level up, and I thought, it would be great if Bayleef learned Reflect this level. Level up. Bayleef would like to learn Reflect.
lol.
 
after training my machop Muscle against trainers, i go to the water. right across from the daycare. i fish and fish, fighting helpless magicarp. i didn't know old rods could catch more. i am surprised by a Krabby! WTF? i catch it and name it Crochity.

Ohhh a Mic Test. Maybe that should of being in the in-game options menu
 
Here is my failed battle with Whitney in my HG rom.
Onix vs Clefairy
Onix used Rock Tomb
Clefairy used mimic and learned Rock Tomb.
(a few turns later)
Clefairy used Metronome. Cleafairy used FREAKIN' LEAF STORM
Onix Fainted...
That was all the WTF moments there. That battle was eventually failed.

Now for the Successful Battle

Bayleef vs Clefairy
Bayleef used Reflect
Clefairy used Mimic. Clefairy learned Reflect.
Bayleef used Poison Powder. But it missed.
Clefairy used Reflect
Bayleef used Poison Poweder. Clefairy became poisoned.
Clefairy used Metronome Clefairy used FREAKIN' GUNK SHOT. O.O
fortunately, it missed. phew.

So anyway, there's the WTF against Clefairy.

Onix vs Miltank
Miltank used Attract. Onix fell in love.
Onix is in love. Onix used Rock tomb. Miltank's Speed fell.
anyway, this of course is followed be multiple Rock tombs from Onix, Stomps from Miltank, and even one Milk Drink. Eventually Onix Faints.
Ok, quite in the clear here. I should be faster than the Miltank now.
Bayleef vs Miltank
Bayleef used Poison Powder. IT MISSES NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Miltank used Attract. Bayleef fell in love.
Bayleef is in love. Bayleef (thankfully) uses Poison Powder. Miltank became poisoned.
Miltank used Stomp.
Bayleef is in love. Bayleef used Reflect. Team's Defense Rose
Miltank used Stomp.
Bayleef is in love, Bayleef used Razor Leaf.

1 or 2 more turns of Razor Leafs and Stomps, and Miltank has like 1 HP.

Bayleef Fainted.
Go Pidgeotto!
Pidgeotto used quick attack.
Miltank Fainted.
Phew.
 
I have SS, and I finally decided to go get Mewtwo. I got it down to one HP, It couldn't touch my Absol =3
I figured I could catch it easy. I used 59 ultra balls. NONE of them wiggled even once. My friend says "Here let me try" I give it to her, and she catches it with a POKEBALL. WHAT THE FUFUFUFUFU!!!??

Same thing happened with Ho-Oh. I managed to catch the birds and Suicune OK though.

I caught Raikou by using Mean look, false swipe, and them Ultra and Dust balls (at night) I try that with Entei, and he uses friggin Roar.

I also caught both latis with my trusted little Absol... He's so cool <3
 
I was trying to catch Zapdos with 30 ultra balls and 1 HP and asleep, i wasted all of them, and then i got pissed. So then i let my older bro try he caught it with a FREAKIN' POKEBALL. I'm like, WTF?? He also caught my latias like that on my HG.
 
When i was fighting red I sent out my heracross(lvl 59) first to try to kill his pikachu. I forgot i put a quick claw on my heracross so when i saw the little animation then went first i was like YES. I used close combat and to my surprise i hit a critical. I was so happy. In that same battle my Dragonite had a stall war with snorlax and ended up beating it becuase i had it poisoned and it used struggle. (I used a lot of potions.)
 
I have a WTF moment every time I go into the GTS.

Level 5 Pikachu for level 100 Entei.

-_-.... I don't have an Entei in the first place...
