Hmmmm...Methinks we need something to talk about. Alright, here we go. I think I've got something.

What first drew you to yaoi/yuri?

The pairing Ryou/Bakura or Yami/Yuugi off Yuugiou. The first time I heard my friend talking about how cute it was I was sorta "ehhh" but... that changed pretty quickly the more I thought about it. xD I've been a fangirl ever since that day. :D

I'm not as big of a yuri fan, but I still like it, I guess. o_O I wouldn't call myself a fan of it, but I guess I started, eh... (how to word it?) noticing it more after I declared myself bisexual. XP (Wasn't quite sure what I liked 'till then, but now I just don't care. XD)

I suppose it was after NDK two years back. I was almost complete in my transformation to a Japanophile, my registry for Kan was too late, though, and I didn't get to go. My friend, though, brought me back some manga. While she was showing them to me, I caugh a glimpse of something else. It was a Sasuke/Naruto doujinshi. I asked to see it and got all squealy and "ADORABLE!!!" And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the end of my story.

Lol "declare". *pictures you climbing up a mountain with a flag in hand and declaring that fact*

Maybe I still don't know you well enough yet. I can't see you looking at really hardcore stuff as opposed to just people cuddling or holding hands or kissing or just suggestive.

I'm not really a fan per say of either. But spending time with Erica gets me exposed to stuff. Lol

That's the first step towards conversion, trust me. You'll be there soon enough.

Eeh... o_o; I've seen the hardcore stuff. X3 You know the friend I have in Hong Kong? Her parents don't pay attention to the stuff she buys off E-Bay, so she's actually gotten several yaoi doujinshi with her parents' money. xD She's my idol, lmfao.

<3 I went to this small con yesterday and bought a few little buttons. :D One says, "I <3 yaoi" and another "I [heart] boys who [heart] other boys" xD I was wearing the yaoi one at school today and this girl asked what it meant. o__o;

*laugh* I remember after NDK this year, well, I hat one of my Iruka/Kakashi doujinshi in my binder. My Japanese teacher, well, I adore her, but she's not the most clued-in person in the world, she didn't quite get the subject matter (or notice the "18+" on the cover. Thank gods for looking like I'm 21). So, she asked "did you buy this at the convention?" I got a little red in the cheeks and said "Yeah." She then asked if she could read it. Well, if I was blushing before... Yeah. I'm like "NO! *slams binder shut*" *laugh* This was the same day that Allie had to hide her Yaoi hoodie from Sensei.

XD I had a similar experience, though t'was only with the word "yaoi."

Last year, we were assigned to write sentences based on, "do you like ____?" So... one person wrote "do you like yaoi?" and Sensei was reviewing his paper. Now, I'd answered that question, I think, so she saw it and asked us what yaoi was. We just sort of sat there until he said, "...boy comics." XD She answered, "mmm... I think there's a different word for it." and then she proceeded to spend the rest of the class trying to think of it.

Aahh.. <3 Japanese class~

Indeed. *goes back to work on translating said Iruka/Kakashi comic*

I've got a good deal of Yaoi and a bit of Yuri manga...And I've been into it for a for years so...*joins* XD

Yay a new member.Welcome Blue.

*hands Blue a Kumagoro plushie* Welcome into the fold.

*poke* :D I picked up Eerie Queerie the other day on an art trip. (We went to Chinatown instead of the food court across the street during break and I got to go to my anime store. XD)

It's so cute. <3 The art's kind of blah, but I love it all the same. o_o I really want the next volume now. T_T;;

Yeah, it is in an odd way. Ichi's WAAAAAYYYYYYY too sharp to be any reasonable fun during various... activities... It's like "Oh, Ichi! Oh, oh, oh... OW! Your hair!"

Uwaaa~ This died while I was gone. ;p

Anyway... new topic, I suppose: What was the first yaoi/yuri/whatever series you ever read/watched?

Mine was Gravitation... I think. o_O; I started with the manga, watched the anime, and now I'm almost finished the manga. (I wish they'd hurry up and come out with Gravi 12~~~ ;__;)

Gravi as well. I'd been considering picking the series up, but didn't really think about it seriously until a friend loaned my volumes three, four, and five.

Heh, I'd heard of it, but I didn't think much of it until I realized the manga was out in English. xD Lol, my friend (male) had heard me mention it once so he bought it when he saw it at the bookstore and found out later it was shounen-ai.

Coincidentally enough, I now have the volumes 1 and 2 he bought up in my room and he hasn't asked for them back. =O

*laughs* Somehow, I'm not surprised... :P
