    What am I talking about? Well, if you take a look at the episode titles of the upcoming AG eps, you'll notice no mention of a Champion or anything. Nope, they go straight from the Hoenn League to the Battle Frontier.

    Now, if you've played Ru/Sa/Em, you *know* how incredibly important Wallace is to the game's plot, and the anime usually does not omit characters that are *that* significant in the game. I know, I know, Lance did the whole Groudon/Kyogre thing (stay in your OWN region and mind you OWN business, demmit! XD), but still, thus far the anime has never omitted the appearance of a Champion (although poor Steven only got one episode in which he did...not much...TT_TT), and since the anime is clearly going by the Emerald storyline, Wallace is the Hoenn Champion, so he kinda ought to show up, no? Unless the anime people are planning to have him do a Lance thing and show up in the D/P series, but even with Lance, they first had him show up in Johto first.

    I can't be the only one who's pissed at the omission of Wallace, can I? :(

    They're... they're cutting... Wallace?!

    ARE THEY NUTS?!

    You're not the only one! I, myself am fighting mad. I lurve Mikuri. Face it, the Pokemon series is turning into another uh whadda ya Pokefans call it, another "Johto" or something. (I personally liked Johto as much as Kanto) The writers are on crack.

    Wallace is a majorly important character though, they'd be mad to cut him...

    Yet they're going to. =(

    You guys do realize quite a heavy number of Elite Four members have yet to be even shown yet? Why is his absence any real shocker? :| Might I also remind you that the games DO NOT HAVE TOURNAMENTS LIKE THE ANIME. So the Elite Four don't exactly exist as a group as well as having champions in tournaments. The only kind of Champion is someone who manages to get through the entire tournament and reaches 1st place.

    So? The E4 are still important regardless of whether or not they battle them or not. :|

    I still want to see all of the E4 members. -_-;;

    Thing is that they don't exist as a group, but rather as individual members. The point I was making was that they don't wait at the end of tournaments to battle people, like in the Orange Islands era. All of the Jouto E4 members were skipped, 1 Kanto E4 member was skipped, and only 1 Houen E4 member was seen. Champions of an entire thing simply don't exist.

    I still want to see all of the E4 members make SOME sort of appearance. =\

    Oh waaa. No one made a big deal when Will and Karen didn't appear, so I don't feel as though I should give the same. It's unfortunate, but the writers are morons anyway. Watch them go through the Battle Frontier without the Frontier Brains...>__>

    Unless he appears in the Battle Frontier somehow. Like in, oh say...the Battle Dome. o__0 With 'Tucker'. >__>

    But yeah. *throws pity party*

    @ Elite Trainer Raven and Phantom_Bugsy: No offense, but you can't compare Wallace to "the other Elite Four members". Wallace is the frickin' CHAMP of Hoenn in Emerald, not "just another E4 member", and the other 2 Champions have both showed up, so you better believe that I have every justification to be shocked and upset that Wallace got skipped over. Will, Karen, Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake's sole purpose in their respective games is to be a battle opponent. Wallace, on the other hand, is involved with a crucial sequence of the save-the-world portion of the R/S/E storyline. He's not merely another character for you to battle. And heck, Drake even got an episode. So Wallace definitely should.

    *is pissed*

    Wataru only counts as one Champion. Green does not exist in the anime. And even then, remember how the anime does NOT follow the game story. Otherwise, Rayquaza would have appeared to stop Groudon and Kyogre in the two parter episode. Champions don't exist since it's not a group that a specific trainer battles first. Champions simply don't exist in the anime and you have to remember that there's one specific thing.

    Anime =/= Games.

    End of story. :|

    Steven showed up too, albeit only for one ep.

    Lance served Wallace's purpose instead.

    .......you did NOT just say that about Will. You DIDN'T.

    All Wallace does in the games is fricking STAND THERE while you do all the work, I fail to see how that's a 'big part'.

    Elites rarely get any screentime anymore, as opposed to the Elite SPREE they went through for Kanto. Therefore at that time, Will and Karen SHOULD have been in there. The writers just have a knack for omitting important people. This should be EXPECTED.

    Besides, I doubt anyone with your same argument would say the same thing if Lorelei never appeared. And lookit all the fanmorons she has now. -____-

    *equally pissed*

    And what'd he do for that episode? Dig holes and blast the Rocket Gang away. There wasn't even any mention of him being part of the Elite Four or being a champion of anything. His important roles in the games were non-existant in the anime. So why's it any suprise that another's roles are gone?

    Yes. And Steven's too. One more reason for me to hate Wataru.

    ......you did NOT just say that about Will. You DIDN'T.
    I only say what's true. It's not like I made that up just to diss Will. Heck, I like Itsuki a heck of a lot better than I like the dragon training pr*ck who has a bigger role than he does.

    'S still bigger than the parts that the rest of the E4 play. And in Emerald (anime's Emerald-based) you actually have to go into the CoO to find him and talk to him, and after he asks you a question (one of the few non-survey, non-interview questions in which you get to say more than "yes" or "no"), he hauls off the the Sky Pillar where he talks to you again, tells you to go get Rayquaza, then goes off again. And he's the one who tells you something about finding Steven after you beat him and the E4.

    Besides, I doubt anyone with your same argument would say the same thing if Lorelei never appeared. And lookit all the fanmorons she has now.
    *blinkblink* Huh? Wharraya mean...What would they say?

    But he at least showed up in an event that he showed up for in the game.

    My only hope is that Satoshi-tachi end up visiting the Sky Pillar and see Wallace there. Rayquaza might already be in a movie, but movie feature-Pkmn often find their way into a TV ep.

    Might wanna tell that to Myuutwo and Myuu. >_> Hell, Houou hasn't exactly had an episode based solely around it.

    These animators baffle me sometimes. <_<;

    Slim chance, but I won't stop you from clinging onto that tiny bit of hope.

    IIRC, Myuutwo made an appearance in the Shigeru vs. Sakaki episode, even if only minor.

    Didn't Houou pop up in the very first episode?

    Episodes revolved around just them. You know like Entei, Suikun, Freezer, Fire, and Thunder? They each had an episode revolving around THEM, not cameo appea--okay, maybe Fire shouldn't be counted either since it's had nothing but cameos aside from the second movie. Point is Houou's only appeared for five seconds each time it's been seen. Absolutely no episodes with background info or a longer appearance of it. o_O

    *would bring up Matsuba's ranting about Houou but decides at the last second to stuff it*

    Wait, Fire had its own special, didn't it? Or was it one of those 'We're gonna mention it but only show it for like two seconds!' kinda things?
