    Yesterday I came up with this weird idea:

    You know that a Pidgey (Lv2 or higher) can learn the Fly HM, right?
    Did you ever imagine a trainer (Ash' size) sitting on that Pidgey flying from Johto to Kanto (or even from Pallet town to route 1)?

    This just doesn't work.
    Right?

    Other stuff may be posted here too ^^
     
    Pretty much true.

    You'd kill the Pidgey if you sat on it.

    Off-topic: It's just a show. You should really just relax. It's not supposed to define logic, but defy it.

    On-topic: Your Fire Pokémon can attack while you are surfing, and your Ground-types can use Earthquake. D:

    A Pidgey's Whirlwind can blow a Snorlax, an Onix, or any other heavy Pokémon away.

    Torchic can learn Mega Punch, but Exploud can't learn Focus Punch. Shedinja can learn Substitute and Alakazam can learn Iron Tail (well, technically you can get it from Kadabra, but Zam itself shouldn't be able to learn the TM).

    Well, following up from the Pidgey idea, what about when a small Pokemon like Marril knows Surf. Your weight would be too much for the poor thing, unless it has enough bouyancy.

    And using Fire Pokemon underwater in R/S/E? <Growlithe bubbling> I don't undrstand that.

    Sentret/Ferret learning Surf and the Elemental Punches, Ground types learning Mud Sport, Water types learning Water Sport, DARK TYPES THAT DON'T HAVE GEWD SP. ATK, Pidgey can learn fly but Golbat/Crobat CAN'T, and there's others that I can't think of right now.

    Sentret and Furret both have arms, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to learn the elemental punches. And Crobat can learn Fly. -.-

    Am I the only one here who finds it a bit odd that a Skitty and a Wailord can breed? I mean, look at that size difference. O.o
     
    Why does Geodude get hit by Earthquake since it seems he's constantly floating? And how does that work?
     
    Porygon could fly (not the attack, but it could float) and Porygon2's Pokédex data says it can't. How is that an upgrade? o.0
     
    Gyarados is a Flying-type, but doesn't learn ANY Flying moves.

    Flygon is a Dragon-type with wings, but only learns the horrid Fly.

    Ghost-types that are also Poison-types.

    Dugtrio learning Aerial Ace.

    Dark-types with high Atk and low SAtk.

    Ground/Rock-types learning Surf (i.e. Aggron/Tyranitar).

    Bagon learning Fly.

    That's not always bad though. Especially in Absol's case. It's not so bad for Crawdaunt either, if you raise it for attack.

    Something else that doesn't work:
    In the show, Muk and Swalot seem to be immunte to most attacks.
     
    I agree with AB Torchic able to use Mega Punch wins...

    If White Smoke stops your stats from lowering why does overheat still lower your Sp.attk...

    Torchic with Seismic toss. What the hell is it tossing????

    Rapidash (its a horse for god sake) cant earthquake but tiny Pokemon like Machop and Tyrouge can. Makes no sence.

    How do poisonus bugs such as Ariados and Venomoth do stuff like Psychic and Night Shade???

    Grovyle cant learn Dragon Claw but Sceptile can... They both have claws....
     
    Makuhita can learn Surf, Zigzagoon can learn Belly Drum, Sudowoodo can learn Fire Punch, Gulpin/Swalot can learn Fire Punch, Hoothoot can learn Fly, Togetic can learn Fly, Blastoise can learn Iron Tail, Chansey can learn Iron Tail, Lapras can learn Iron Tail, Aron/Larion can learn Iron Tail, Snorlax can learn Lick, Lapras can learn Shock Wave, Gulpin can learn Sing, Snoraunt can learn Sing, Hoothoot can learn Wing Attack.

    IMO, Sudowoodo learning Fire Punch takes the cake ^^
