    I originally helped someone make this team, though it ended up with me building the whole thing ;__;

I really liked how this team turned out when it was all done and decided to test it myself. And much to my surprise it did exceptionally well. So here it is:

    Team at a Glance:

[PokeCommunity.com] This is a [platinum] team

    Tyranitar @ Leftovers
    Careful Nature (+S.Def -S.Atk)
    Ability: Sandstream
    236 HP/ 56 Def/ 216 S.Def
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    - Crunch
    - Earthquake

Very good special wall with an HP stat of 400 and a S.Def stat of 479 in sandstorm. Walls Azelf, Heatran, SpecsMence, Magnezone and the ever annoying Rotoms. Absorbs status for the team as well.

[PokeCommunity.com] This is a [platinum] team

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature
    Ability: Sand veil
    116 HP/ 176 Def/ 216 Spd
    - Roost
    - Taunt
    - Fire Fang
    - Earthquake

Stops BPing and stat upping with Taunt as well as effectively taking on Skarmory, Bronzong, Forretress, Celebi and Tangrowth with Taunt + Fire Fang, all pokes who would normally wall the average Gliscor. Abusing Sand Veil is also very funfun too.

[PokeCommunity.com] This is a [platinum] team

    Cresselia @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature (+S.Atk -Atk)
    Ability: Levitate
    252 HP/ 116 Def/ 36 S.Atk/ 36 S.Def/ 68 Spd
    - Trick
    - HP Fighting
    - Ice Beam
    - Psychic

Trick is important for dealing with annoying bulky CMers/ Cursers and BPers. With the given EVs and Choice Specs, HP Fighting OHKOs Weavile, 2HKOs Max HP Tyranitar and outspeeds Adamant Max Speed Tyranitar. Also somewhat counters Salamence, Mamoswine and Machamp.

[PokeCommunity.com] This is a [platinum] team

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature (+ Def -S.Atk)
    Ability: Water Absorb
    252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spd
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - HP Electric
    - Surf

Gyarados counter, provides water immunity seeing as that is a common special attack type Tyranitar can't handle. Gives Wish support for the team.

[PokeCommunity.com] This is a [platinum] team

    Metagross @ Leftovers
    Adamant Nature (+Atk -S.Atk)
    Ability: Clear Body
    204 HP/ 80 Atk/ 224 S.Def
    - Pursuit
    - Bullet Punch
    -
    Ice Punch/ Stealth Rock
    - Explosion

Pursuit + Bullet Punch ensures it'll deal with my Gengar problem the very 1st time it decides to show up. Keeps Skymin in check to some extent.

    Scizor @ Choice Band
    Adamant Nature (+Atk -S.Atk)
    Ability: Technician
    92 HP/ 252 Atk/ 164 Spd
    - Night Slash
    - Bullet Punch
    - U-Turn
    - Superpower

Can't have a platinum team without one of these. CB set is better than SD in my opinion.

    There it is, rate away!

Well im sure you wont have Gengar problems with Meta, Tar AND Scizor, so you could shove Stealth Rock on Metagross >> Pursuit imo. The latter of which can go on scizor's set if you desire >> Night Slash (unless you really fear the rotom formes, but you have STalk Tar, so ehh)

But yeah ill come back later if i spot something else =p.

Stealth Rock on Metagross sounds nice, that actually never crossed my mind before =/

But I think I should go in palce of Ice Punch instead, as it's been quite situational the majority of the time, and seeing as I want to deal with Gengar immediately, and not have it hit and run on me.

    Thanks D_A

No safe switch into SD Scizor is bad =[ It 2HKO's Metagross with X-Scissor after an SD, Cress isn't gonna switch into it anytime soon (although it can potentially Trick a Specs onto it, so that's something to consider)

Gliscor has taken care of Scizor so far, I occasionally get a miss hax thanks to Sand Veil which is always nice. And most are 252 HP/ 252 Atk, so I can revenge kill with my Scizor if it's HP is low enough too.

Ah, I missed the Fire Fang on that Gliscor. Nevermind about that threat then lol...

One question: How decently do you handle Kingdra? I can see Cresselia as a decent check against it, since its Specs Ice Beam breaks the Sub, and can keep hitting on it (though that lets a foe TTar just come in and Pursuit it) Or just Trick it if it seems brave enough (or stupid enough) to not use/carry Substitute.

If it's a SubCM Cune you're facing, it isn't too much trouble. Metagross can break the sub every time if you put T-Punch on it. However, if its a standard CM Cune with no Sub in it, a good idea might be to make Metagross CB, and find room for SR on Gliscor or Tar. CB Thunderpunch is a guaranteed 2HKO with SR up, so its worth considering. All calcs were based on 252 HP/252 Def/ Bold Nature variants.
