Kai.....HAI PC ! =D
So this is my first RMT in quite a while around here so I thought I'd go and make another RMT with a crappy team I've made. I've actually been trying to make a good team lately utilizing weird sets for surprise value and achieving the needed goals to winning. Unlike some of the rmt's I've seen running around with queer sets ( Sash on Gyara? ) , these sets are 'proven' to work, either that or Theorymoned >)>.
So as I've said, utilizing a team of weird sets that work, either that or pokemon that have been proven useful in the past ( i.e. Heracross ). This team hasn't been through much testing (as in battling between the ratings 1000 - 1300) and I'm sure there are plenty of flaws around here. So, let's look at the team !
Mamoswine (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP | 252 Attack | 252 Speed
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
> Stealth Rock
> Ice Shard
> Earthquake
> Endeavor
I actually always wanted to attempt to use Mamolead because it sounded so good on paper and as testing goes (lol), it has done farely well. It gets SR out right in the beginning and then goes crazy with Ice Shard and Earthquake. Unlike some pokemon, Mamo can actually USE Focus Sash because this thing isn't Weather Weak which is where Endeavor comes in.
Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP | 112 Attack | 144 Defense
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
> Spikes
> Earthquake
> Rapid Spin
> Explosion
Obviously, my team needs this as you will see later in this rmt as it does discourage switching too often. 3 layers of spikes really hurt obviously so I abuse them. I didn't bother with T-Spikes as I find people switch anyways despite spikes. EQ to hit predicted Magnezone on the Switch-in (lol, magnezone). Rapid Spin to make sure Weavile doesn't die the moment it switches in. Explosion to leave in style.
Flygon (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP | 252 Attack | 176 Speed
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
> Outrage
> Earthquake
> U-turn
> ThunderPunch
With Scarfgon around, it can come in on Ape and revenge kill it causing ape to either switch or die. Outrage and Earthquake for STAB, U-turn to scout and ThunderPunch for my current Gyara weak.
Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Defense | 252 Speed | 252 Special Attack
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
> Metal Sound
> Thunderbolt
> Hidden Power [Ice]
> Roost
Whoever said Zapdos is always a tank with the exact same moveset? This shows you the deadly power of ScreechGon on the special side with even more power then Flygon had. After one Metal Sound, Thunderbolt is a 2HKO on Blissey with Spiker support ( 40% - 47% ). Thunderbolt is just a plain deadly STAB while HP [Ice] compliments it for the BoltBeam combo. Roost to heal off all extra damage including Life Orb and SR.
Weavile (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP | 252 Attack | 252 Speed
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
> Ice Shard
> Pursuit
> Brick Break
> Night Slash / Ice Punch
Personally, I haven't seen Weavile since... before the release of Platinum actually. I actually have no idea why this stopped in usage though I'm pretty sure it has something to do with a STAB Technician Bullet Punch. Though that was a blow to Weavile, he hasn't lost his usefulness. This thing is the ultimate revenge killer because we all know the next guy with arena trap will suck so the next thing to do is Ice Shard while Mence is locked into Outrage =D. STAB Pursuit hurts wether you switch or not and Brick Break is for TTar. Night Slash is there for a reliable weapon though Im not sure wether I should use it over Ice Punch. The nature itself is debatable as Adamant gives it a boost in power while Jolly helps with it's revengefullness.
Rotom-h @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 64 HP | 212 Speed | 232 Special Attack
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
> Charge Beam
> Substitute
> Shadow Ball
> Hidden Power [Fighting]
A totally standard Charge Beam set from Rotom but it's just that effective. With the ability to become a mind wall, I can switch into Gyara, threaten to counter, and Sub. Charge Beam itself is a very useful move able to boost my Special Attack into levels capable of sweeping. Rotom also works well as a spin blocker.

The Gameplan
I guess it's plenty obvious the strategy but I'll give it a go. The idea is to get the spikes up and then off our side. Weavile stays in until a threat comes out and takes them out. Ice Shard Mence and Brick Break for TTar. Then Flygon comes in and the battle plays out. With Screech on said target, Weavile or Mamo can come in and beat it while Metal Sound on Target and Rotom and come in and set-up and threaten.
Changes
ScreechGon becomes a Scarfgon to cover Ape, Heatran, and Gyara weak
ScreechGon becomes a Scarfgon to cover Ape, Heatran, and Gyara weak
So yea people, this is my team, I will try to get a threats list with more subsequent testing but Rate Away PC !
