They might of been trying to evolve a trade pokemon. You may have seen, I think it's world king going around telling people not to waste threads by asking for trade backs, instead just use the GTS. Hope this helped explain why.

I quite agree with you about that but It Is useless.I used to do a lot of trading now Its pointless I hate It.

I have seen something like that. I wanted a Chimchar, Looked on the GTS, found two offers. One offering a lv.5 Chimchar for a lv.50 Empoleon 0.o and the other one was a lv.1 Chimchar asking for a lv. 40 Typhlosion!!! Unbelievable xD
Geez...

But I don't complain, I have Diamond, Pearl, FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby and Emerald, so getting most Pokemon is easy anyway xD I don't have Wi-Fi though, my dad wont set it up :(

Because it's rubbish! And I think you should only be able to put on offer a pokemon of the same type (legendary, rare, common or uncommon)

yes i do think they should gain a ranking system for the GTS.

i also think nintendo missed a trick in not enabling you to see what OTHER people want.

what i mean is, say i have a level 60 steelix i want to trade, i could search on the GTS for people who want a steelix, and see what i could get in trade back.

that would really aid it.

i also think a unfair trade rule, if nintendo added a level gap system, maybe no trade can take place with 2 pokemon that have level gaps greater than 25 or something, stopping people from asking for a level 100 rayquaza for a level 1 bidoof, lmao.

i also think a option to almost "bookmark" a trader would be nice, if you find a trader that seems to do good trades, you could almost subscribe to them, so when you log into the GTS you get informed of any new pokemon they have put up for trade.

these are my ideas for a future gts :)
