Caterpie. Butterfree is an absolute beast. Plus I luffs him.

I love all three, but something about Chikorita makes me attracted to it. xD

For what purpose? Misty she's good at everything.

Submission, Flare Blitz, Wood Hammer, or Double Edge?

I -think- those are all the powerful "recoil damage" moves. You don't take as much damage from a move like Take Down...
