They're both way too young and are obnoxious little brats, but I'd choose Ash if I absolutely had to choose between those two. At least he's a bit less of an obnoxious brat than Gary is.

Both Pokemon have always been given everything they wanted on demand by their trainers and you will be supplied with enough money by said trainer to buy them those things.
 
I was going to go with 'zam, but the Machamp's attack will miss most of the time.
