I did a search, nothing turned up...

When you find Latios in the wild... I was in the sandstorm area... and it had less than half health...
I don't ever remember attacking it at all, and I didn't think it would appear there of all places...

is it a glitch? or did I attack Latios and the game remembers it's exact health?

It's most likely that you've met Latios beforehand and attacked it, leaving it on that amount of health. It is meant to be at full health when you first encounter it, so unless your game has been screwed with, then the assumption is, you've attacked it before.

Btw, that isn't exactly half health, it's below 50%

I said "Less than Half" which is Less than 50%

Oops, my bad. I didn't read it right.

Umm.. so do you remember attacking it before in anyway?

I might have actually, Crobat might have attacked it before Latios killed it... I remember encountering him again after that battle and he was at full health again, so I was just wondering if it is supposed to stay at the health like that or go back to full.

When you get beaten, or they run away from you, their health remains exactly the same as you last fought against it; even if you have damaged it. So if you did lower it to that health beforehand, that would make Latios' health still the same the next time you battle it.

Ok, I was just wanting to know if their health remained the same or not, I've never really tried to damage running Pokemon. This topic can be closed.

    your game is weird?????????????????????///

nah u attked it before..u prolly just don't recall

I'm pretty sure that in GSC when you say, used Toxic on Raikou it would keep that status effect. I'm not sure if that carries over into RSE, but that could be helpful if you could slap a Sleep Powder on it.

EDIT - Yes it does carry over.

lol how would you put it to sleep if it has to be awake to escape? :P
My mistake, once it is asleep it can't run, but things like Poison/Burn/Paralysis stay.

Well the funny thing is, in D/P, putting things to sleep still allows them to run.

I can't confirm this for R/S/E though.. it's been awhile since I went catching for those.

If you put wild pokemon to sleep in R/S they can get away.

I put a Latias asleep and it left me all alone T.T

Thats what I thought because I remember playing GSC and I put one of them to sleep and then it ran and I was like what the hell.
