So I talked to that old guy , done some stuff and somehow arrived in Cinnanbar , kept surfing on the Right Side of the Isle and ooops frickin MissingNo. and as I tried a Pokeball on it , I accidentally used my Master Ball . And oops , u caught MIssing.No xD .
Emulator stucks , gets back in *no savefile* .

Mine's quite similar. I took the ultimate monotype challenge found somewhere. I had two save files, which annoyed me so I deleted one of them just to realize, that I deleted the one, where I had got somewhere.
 
I have a tendency to erase my games before the hypothetical "end". I think I only beat the Elite 4 once, in my Pokemon... Red? In fact, the furthest I got in Sapphire was to Sootopolis City before I quit and even now in my Pearl (which I haven't played for a while) I have about 30 or so hours logged in and I just beat Fantina.

Back in the days of Pokemon Crystal, for once I made it far into the game. I was around the Tohjo Falls route when I turned on my game to find out it had been deleted. I'm not quite sure if it should be attributed to turning the power off as I was saving the last time (I don't remember doing that), or if it was finding out after I lost it in the backseat of my car and replaying it about seven or so years later on a new file did I find out that my internal battery had died and taken my saved file- and my Feraligatr, with it. I was crying over the loss and called Nintendo Technical Support where some woman consoled me and blamed it on turning the game off while saving.
 
Mine was on pokemon yellow after the elite 4 on Champion blue(or green).
I sent out my blastoise and "woops" a block of random pixels,Thats when i realised my last save deleted my party.
I had mew from the glitch in my pc but seriousally,how could that mess up battling blue.How! HOW!.
I SPENT A FREAKING YEAR ON TRAINING MY POKEMON UP TO THE LVL 80's AND IT DELETES MY TEAM!
GAH! -throws GB at wall-
 
Mine was waaay back in the days of Pokémon Red when I was very young. My friend had my level 77 Venusaur on his game (can't remember why) and refused to give it back to me unless I cloned it, as he'd just learned how to do the cloning trick.

Unfortunately, he hadn't heard right, and ended up cloning his crappy level 8 Abra instead of my Venusaur. The Venusaur was gone. I cried for a -long- time.

I had got to Ho-Oh finally, and I was aiming to get him shiny(Reset FTW)....

After I FINALLY got him shiny, I was throwing the Master Ball. Right when he went in the ball...the batteries fell out when my Brother ran into the room. I like.....broke my GBC then.

I literally beat the crap out of my brother...

trying to chase entei, suicune, and raikou around the map using my pokedex to find their location. they kept on moving as soon as i went to that area and i eventually gave up.
 
In my old Yellow version, the save battery died (oddly, since this isn't a Metal Generation game). I have a new save battery now.

EDIT: er, I have a new Yellow Version now. Sorry for the confusion.

Haha, it wouldn't have mattered if he didn't knock them out of the GBC, ROFL. I tried to throw the GBC at him, but he ran, so I like...tossed it at the Kitchen Counter and almost broke the Microwave. :D

I eventually memorized how to get through the cave without Flash. Lol! I hated to waste a move slot on that useless HM. :/

Mine happened in Silver:

You know how in the PC you can release your Pokemon?

And you know in Yellow (and now in HGSS for that matter) your lead follows you around?

I thought that's what they meant by release. And being a 6 year old, I didn't have the mental capacity to realize what would happen if that's not what that meant. So I tried it on my Quilava. My poor, poor Quilava that I loved with all my heart. And when I logged out of the PC and expected to see my little guy walking behind me, my hopes were crushed. And it wasn't like I could soft reset to take back what I did. 'Cause back then, we had to save every time we switched boxes. It was bad.

EDIT: Just remembered another one. I let my best friend borrow my Charizard on Red to help him with E4. One day I mentioned if I'd be able to get it back. He told me he started over the game. I was so pissed. >_<
 
I have at least 6 where I went insane but here are my top 3 best (or would it be worst? I don't know...)

1.I hear alot about Whitney's Miltank. True enough. But I always found Claire's Kingdra to be so @#$% annoying. Yes its water. And my main Johto team consists of an Ampharos. But the thing is @#$% impossible and I have to fight her at least 4 times before I can do it.

2.Now I first got my Pokemon games when I was 6. I was playing Gold and I had just finished Lake of Rage for the first time ever. I had a Typhlosion and other cool Pokemon when I saved and then I turned it on later and pressed New Game by accident. Like zapht I didn't know that you could just turn it off and press continue. So I cried like crazy afterwards because I had never gotten that far

The worst one out of the three.....

3.Alright so I was like 8, and I wanted to get me an Articuno. I was playing good ol' Yellow. I really wish I had the Guide to the Seafoam Islands because I got lost in there. Probably for days. I had Pikachu and Two pieces of crap Pokemon and I had the two crap pokemon faint and then Pikachu was at the point of Struggling his mind out. I don't know why it never occured to me but if I fainted I would go to a Pokemon Center. Anyways it was just really annoying and I had to start all over again.
 
My first time through a Pokémon game. Blue version. I was . . . probably 8 or 9 years old.

"Look, look, look! I finally caught this thing in my Pokémon game! It's called Mewtwo, he's like the strongest Pokémon in the world!"

Turn on GBC. Load game.

" . . .
. . .
. . . why am I in Pallet Town?
Why am I in my room?
Why are "Pokémon" and "PokéDex" not options in the menu?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

And so ended my first Pokémon adventure.

This happened in Green when I was 9. (I had a translated one that was impossible to read at times Dx)

"Mewtwo is mine! >=3"

Then I found out that you needed a stupid master ball to get Mewtwo, and I wasted my master ball on Mew the day before (Three cheers for the Mew Trick! 8D), and I hadn't saved before battling Mewtwo.

I threw my GBC out of the window and it landed on the road which my GBC got crushed by a stupid truck. Dx

On Gold (Last year), when I just beated all the Gym Leaders, and I was on the way to beat Red, I saved my game and went to play on the computer.

Later, when I turned my GBA SP on, I found out that the game killed my save file. My save battery died on that very day. (I don't even know how the heck my Gold surived for that long. O.o)

I was "GAH! SCREW YOU POKEMON GOLD! -bleeep!-" and I flushed my Gold down the Toilet after smashing it to bits with a hammer.

I hated those two games forever and ever. >.>

brother: you only connected the charger to the wall not to the GBA...
me: looks at GBA.....
ME HOLY F**K!!!

well.. first here in mexico some days before New Year some people make a firework parade... (you know where you can buy fireworks) and my family and I went there and i had my emerald on my jeans's pocket...

then at my fathers car....

me: I wanna play emerald..(looks at pocket)
me: WHERE IS MY EMERALD!!!!!!!

so.. I looked on all my pockets even in my moms purse but didnt found it... maybe i dropt it in the parade...

little months later bought emerald again and remembers....

me thinking: MWAHAHAHHA! MY FRIENDS SWAMPERT WAS THERE!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!

well thats my stories....
 
my friend tried speed running pokemon yellow on his GBA. Without saving. he starts running to the bathroom, when hes almost finished destroying the Champion (blue? i forget), when he trips, and smashes the gameboy and cartridge to pieces. im probably a bad friend, but i lol'ed at the smashed gameboy, and lol'ed even harder when i saw the upset look on his face.
 
When my desided to start a new game on gold but i didn't want to override my old one so i didnt save it but i dont no how it saved any way!!

I was pissed of i lost my lvl 80somthing machamp =(
