Thoughts on what pokemon ash will get next

    when the battle frontier is over what pokemon do you see ash catching next? As always he will always catch a couple stage one pokemon(maybe from diamond/pearl)but i thinks it time ash gets to have a bit of a legendary pokemon. Now i know alot of you will disagree with me but legendary pokemon are strong but we've already seen ash go 1 on 1 with some and win, so for him to catch one wouldn't ruin the series, your thought on what pokemon ash will get?
     
    I totally agree but im not sure what one it would be
     
    Satoshi will catch a Water starter Pokemon in the Diamond/Pearl Region, other then that, what won't he catch? It looks like a Pinsir, or a Dragon (a weak one of course) Pokemon is comin' his way.
     
    another water starter doesn't seem appropriate, hes much older now and has to consider catching strong pokemon or hes just going to loose time and time again in tournaments and special battles against members of the elite 4. I hope tho they make ash catch a legendary it makes sence because hes helped and fought so many of them, even like dragonite would suite ash.
     
    I think Ash should give May the next PoKeMon he catch's. I am guesting that May's Eevee well evolve into a Jolteon. It's about time she get's an electric type PoKeMoN....
     
    May will probably get a Charmander next(how fitting it would be after having a baulbasaur and a Squirtle) I think Ash will eventually catch an Absol. But Im surprised he hasnt yet caught anything in the battle frontier. Thats odd. I think he will reutrn Donphan when he goes to the new region. I think he will probably end up catching something surprising. I dont see ash catching a LEGENDARY pokemon simply because they arnt ment to be caught. I think he'll probably get 1 more pokemon than he'll go into the new region and catch ALL-new pokemon.
     
    Yeah, I don't know about him catching a legendary. I mean, they're just so powerful that Ash would win too easily. It would be like having Charizard back on his team.

    I do think that he will, of course, get at least one of the D/P starters. They could do a split thing between Ash and May and Brock (if he stays with them) again, but for some reason I just don't picture them doing that again.

    It would be cool if Ash caught a psychic pokemon. They're so interesting. It would also be cool if he could catch a dark type pokemon. He's never had one before, and they're so stereotypically evil pokemon, it would be interesting to see how Ash would handle one.

    A dragon type? Yeah... I suppose he should catch one... but I don't know about a Dragonite. Dragonite's just been showcased so much as a pokemon for really good trainers (Lance, Drake, etc.), I just can't picture Ash with one. XD
     
    I'd like him to get a flygon or maybe he'll get himself that new orange guy from the 4th generation(sorry, forgot the name)
     
    i didn't meen like a legendary legend pokemon, i meant sort of pokemon like metagross,dragonite,tyranitar ect but i do think its time for ash to cath a dragon,steel or physic pokemon.
     
    probably will soon. I think he'll get something unexpected.
     
    I think he should get some of his old pokemon back and work to evolve them. It'd be pretty cool to see him using a wartortle or blastoise. I'd like to see him get his Pidgeot back as well.
     
    hmmmmmm, well after BF is done, Donphan will probably go back with Oak, if he leaves Swellow, than thats a clue to tell us he will get another flying type(probably that bird from movie 9) because Ash ALWAYS gets his flying type. When he left Pigeot, he later got Noctowl, when he left Noctowls at Oaks, he got Tailow. So it only makes sense to possibly move on to another flying type. However, I dont see him leaving Scepile. Sceptile is currently his only 2nd stage pokemon that he still has(right, I dont recall any others besides Charizard and he isnt with him anymore) so Sceptile is a funny part of his team.
     
    Ash needs to definatley get squirtle back and evolve it.

    I want ash to evolve his Cyndaquil. Actually I always wanted to. Im also tired of Ash always losing tournaments when he gets far. Its about, time he won a tournament. It would be cool to see Ash use Quilava. Quilava is like one of my favorite fire types. I prefer quilava over his last Stage to be honest

    if pidgeot was to ever come back,I'd think it at least be after (At least)a visit from butterfree.....alot of people seem to forget about him....
     
    Squirtle is a firefighter now and may not be able to travel with Ash for any lenght of time. I still think he should catch a Loudred or at least a Whismer. :t294:
     
    Maybe he'll evolve Bulbasaur into Ivysaur the Venasaur. That would be cool. I can also see him with a fire starter next, or maybe water. But he needs a Dragon pokemon, I don't think hes ever caught one. Not a Flygon since Drew already has one, maybe Kingdra or Salamence, I can picture those with him.
