    Just wondering, but how many replies must exist in a thread before you close it?
    Isn't it 30000 replies? I ask because the last years DCC had nearly 51000 replies :o.

    Just wanted to clarify
     
    Depends on what the thread is saying.

    Like BIG thread slike Chit chat will be renewed every year or Holiday, but an ordianry htread like a Game Thread won't likely be closed for too many posts.
     
    The 30000 posts rule is an Other Trivia thing, since there are many active threads, and having several threads with a high postcount would be bad for the database (at least the old one, when Signomi started doing it and pretty much started the tradition).

    In Other Chat, only the DCC can reach such postcount, so it's not that bad.
