    Sorry, I couldn't find anything in the FAQ/etc. When is the thread cut off date for falling off of the board?

    If you mean when a thread is dead, then the cutoff is 30+ days. (a month)

    I just realized how stupid my question is because I could have just gone to the end of the last page and looked at the date. But anyway thanks for your help.

    I'm honestly not sure PC has thread pruning enabled..

    The rules state that a thread is known as being dead once it's had no posts for over a month, like Eeveon said, but the threads themselves never disappear. Heck, most sections have hundreds of pages full of threads, with the last page being threads from all the way back in 2003. D;

    edit: hahaha, looks like you figured it out. XD

    Well, I knew that the threads themselves didn't disappear, but that they were no longer visible by looking at the board itself. So that's what I meant.

    You can change the viewable thread cut off date for your account. You can do so through the user control panel, or changing the selection at the bottom of the main page of whatever forum you're viewing under the display options category. You can choose between the last day, last 2 days, last week, last 10 days, last 2 weeks, last month, last 45 days, last 2 months, last 75 days, last 100 days, last year, and the beginning of the forum. A lot to offer, really. Technically, there really isn't one! n_n

    So if you start a thread and there is a thread on that topic already but the thread hasn't had a post in 30+ days that's allowed?

    Yes, because that means it's a dead topic. However, I believe that only staff AND the owner of that thread are allowed to revive that. I don't know if that's for only a few boards here or all of them.
