Here is where you can discuss the turbulent flight home to Olivine in "Throwing in the Noctowl."

    My review to come forthwith.

For some reason this Jhoto episode really sticks out in my mind, it could possibly be because there is a fair bit of action and theres alot going on. I also like episodes where TR and the "twerps" work together, even if it is short lived, because you tend to get good comedy.

The part that let the episode down was the fact that Jigglypuff turned up, it seemed that Jigglypuff was used to end of an otherwise long episode quickly. Also the pilots vocie was irritating because the vocie has been used repeatedly in poikemon and it loses the characters sense of individuality.

But Still A Good Episode 7.5/10

In terms of transition episodes, it was pretty good. My only two issues were the animation and Team Rocket's abrupt exit. What, the writers couldn't wait for them to land, and then, battle? Bah. I forget when they fell, but wouldn't the hole depressurize the plane additionally? You are right, though, these types of episodes create a heightened sense of drama not employed in most episodes (I think the AG equivalent would be "a Sharpedo Attack").

As for the animation, well, after the well-done art of the previous episode, I should have known. You can always tell on the animation with James' hair, whether it's quality or poor. At least, in the early days.

Now, the voice recycling, yeah, that's a flaw 4Kids had with late Johto. I won't argue with you, there.

The animation is a bit hit and miss in the epsiode, the chores part seemed unneeded.

Lots of questions cropped up aswell, such as:

Why does Ash need to go on the roof? and Why didn't Misty, Pikachu and Brock blow away from standing at the door?

But it was nice for Poliwhirl, Crobat and Bulbasaur to crop up.

Why does Ash need to go on the roof?

To get to the lightning (that was it, wasn't it?)

I watched this episode a few days ago. I thought this episode was funny, the one's where Team Rocket and the trio work together are always good. And of course OK! Instrumental made an appearance! Love that tune.
