Thunder Fang worth it?

I bred my Rhyperior to have this, but I don't think it's that useful. My original way of thinking was that it'd be useful to give to anyone with a weakness to Water, namely Rhyperior & Steelix. But I don't think it's very useful at all, as a STAB Earthquake should be more powerful than a SE Thunder Fang.

Any thoughts on this?

Yeah, an option to speed it up. But not really worth it. Edit: going to use the Pokeradar to get some Shinies. (Diamond).

Choice Band is good on Ryperior too. I'd use that over leftovers
