3rd Gen Tips on catching a Feebas please?

    I know where teh get them, but there's only a 6/500 chance on meeting one :dead: Tips please?
     
    have patience, and be patient

    what else? o.o;
    But once you get one, you can keep fishing in that spot and you'll very likely get tons of Feebas in those 6 tiles.
     
    i also heard something about chanding the trendy phrase in dewford town to "Mudkip ball", "treecko ball" or "torchic ball" (depending on the starter), but i haven't seen anything yet
     
    i did the trendy phrase 'Mufufu Mufufu' (i was feeling evil that day) and i found 3 feebases on the tile after you go up the waterfall on the way to fortee city. i'm breeding em rite now so i can rip all my buddies off. :badsmile: i'm evil...
     
    it's mainly all about what frostweaver said, patience.

    the trendy phrase changes where the feebas appear but since their
    appearance also has to do with your trainer ID number
    having the same phrase as someone else won't let them find feebas in the
    exact same tiles as you.

    Also, when you mix records with people, your tiles change
    they catch feebas where you were able to and you catch it where they
    were able to, so if your friends already got some, mix records and have them
    show you the exact sqare where they caught theirs or, better yet just
    trade with 'em and after you breed don't release them incase you want
    to later on breed more.
     
    Changing the phrase does not make them appear in a certain place, it just randomises the tiles.
    An example: I changed the phrase to Beautiful Saturday and one of the tiles was was one tile under under the bridge at the far right, I bet if you made your phrase mine, it won't be in that tile.

    NOTE: I meant to say was twice and under twice, try and understand plz
     
    I used patiences to get mine n.n Then i caught one (in only like, half an hour :p) a female, then I started breeding the one I caught, and poof, I have a Fleet of Feebas! (but not one milotic -.-)
    p.s.
    I *assume* you want it for milotic? Just wondering...or is it for your pokedex, or other reason...
