4th Gen To be or not to be?

Hello.
I am having trouble with making choices with my pokemon team.
I have:
A quilava
A beedrill
A mareep
A vulpix
A meowth
And a staryu

I want to make room for an Eevee that I received, but I'm not sure who I should boot off. I would boot off beedrill in a heart beat seeing how it might be the weakest of the contendors, but I have used EV items, tm's, and I've been training it since it was a lvl 4 kakuna.
I find it somewhat odd that I got the kakuna at lvl 4, seeing how a weedle evolves at lvl5....
Anyways.
I've adored persians and starmies since I first started playing pokemon, and I am not going to get rid of the starter.
So that means, my last one is Mareep.
I'm sort of indifferent to my Mareep, but I really love the idea of evolving it into an Ampharos.
Do you think I should eliminate it from my team and deposit it in the PC?
Or do you think I should not have an eevee at all?

Probably vulpix seeing as you already have two fire types... and Ty probably has better stats than Ninetails

Unfortunately team help threads are not allowed here as the HGSS rules state, sorry. Plus you'd probably get mixed advice anyway. I'd suggest just going with what you want to use or if you can't decide flip a coin or something (as any Pokemon really will do well in the end as long as it's trained enough), although the above suggestion with not doubling up in types is something to consider.
