To Fire Emblem Fans: Another Blue haired hero! (FE8 has been anounced!!!)

    Well I'll be darned, I thought Leaf, Roy and ELiwood would start a legacy of Red headed heroes... but no... Fire Emblem: Soen no Kiseki (Miracle of the Blue flame) has been announced. The poster below should give out some stuff...

    The following details have been anounced:

    -This game of Fire Emblem is for Gamecube!!! (woohooo!) That means, 3D graphics!!!
    -This, sadly, does not take place in the continent of Elibe. (Awww...bye bye 8 legendary heroes)
    -Another Blue Haired hero takes command of his father's armies from the evil clutches of evil... (3 guesses) DRAGONS!!! (Felt that comming huh?)
    -Again, the same clones. THere will be a Jeigan (Marcus type), Nahval (Guy type), Oguma (Raven Type), Cain (Sain type) and Abel (Kent type) and stuff....
    -This time, the Jeigan appears to be using an axe instead of being a paladin
    - The hero's name is Aik (unconfirmed) .. guess what? He gets the most annoying short name next to Alm XD

    ...that's it...

    I saw that and wanted to say something hehe...

    That's really cool though! I can't wait for it!
    Do you know when it's coming to the U.S.?....if it's coming at all?
    I might have to start saving money....

    Nice, I have been looking forward to this, only for GBA, not GCN >.<. Eh, I probably may end up getting it eventually, not the few weeks it's released, I know that much XP

    Well, one good idea that they could have is maybe on 1 or 2 gamecube game disks is have all of the past japanese games, all translated. Now that is something I would really be interested in!

    I hope they do come through with it, I have so much to learn about FE, it's simply a marvelous RPG series, very well done. I bet it's going to take a while to come out, if it comes out -_-.

    I gotta bone up on FE stuff, because I have no idea what you are talking about :P. Maybe by 2005-2006 this can become a reality ^^

    great another FE game...new system, graphics are pretty good...i might get it
     
    sure...it seems sort of FFTA angled field...oh well...
     
    I was hoping to learn more of Eliwood's and Roy's tale, but I am still very pleased with this announcement!
    .....there's going to be a bonus disk? Alright! Hopefully we'll be able to play those games after all!
     
    I hope so. I always wanted to play all the older games, and get really in-depth of the whole FE stories, I feel so out of tune with all of it :P

    I know what you mean.
    When Oni Flygon starts naming all these things from past games, the best i can do is smile and agree hehe....
    But I'm learning though!

    I just hope it comes to the U.S.
    Seeing as how FE7 was so successful, might give them an incentive to bring it here. Let's just hope for the best!
