Top Five Favorite Movies

Kay so I don't watch TV much, but here:

Twister- So as a person who is greatly fascinated by storms, I love this movie. Most people I mention it to hate it, but I love all the tornadoes.

Jurrasic Park- Eli is also a major dinosaur fan, and the effects are amazing. The sequels aren't as good, but I love it.

Spirited Away- I. LOVE. THIS. MOVIE.
O_O I've seen it so many times, and my teacher likes it. Really, if you like Anime and haven't seen it, I need to whack you, and then take you to see it.

Homeward Bound- Kay so no one most likely knows this movie, but I have a huge connection to it. It's basically an animal movie and it's <3

Batman Begins- PWNAGE. That's all I have to say, PWNAGE.

I have a lot but here i go...

1. Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights
2. Ladder 49 [i cried sooo hard]
3. Grease
4. Sister Act
5. ehh... idk. probably something like Brokeback Mountain -_-

Robot Monster: Probably the worst movie ever made, but that's what makes it so funny XD Never in my life has a film made me laugh so much as this one.

Star Wars Trilogy: Need I say more? :)

Eko Eko Azarak: Cool plot, great suspense, and beautiful music. I love it.

Spirited Away: Truly a masterpiece. I could probably watch it three times in a row if I were able to.

Godzilla vs. Mothra: What can I say? I love teh Mothra.

1. Garden State
Best movie I've ever seen. Great soundtrack, love the imagery at the start of the movie. The bit with the plane as a nice metaphor and intro to it. Would have liked it if the movie ended a bit different, but overall it was a great movie.

2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Just because it's a classic.

3. Lost in Translation
Pretty funny movie, the ending wasn't really that ambiguous like I've heard it been called though. It was a really good story and had great film direction.

4. Mortal Kombat
Best video game movie ever (...not like that's hard). Great action, story wasn't the best but everything else made up for it.

5. Hotaru no Haka
Just because it's what it is.

Is it me or we always seem to have the same taste in movies and music? XD

I can't catagorize these into 1-5 but these are my five favorite movies...

The Pianist (Favorite War Movie)
Garden State (Favorite Comedy)
Memoris of a Geisha (Favorite Biographical Movie)
Spirited Away (Favorite Animated)
Sunset Blvd. (Favorite Black and White Film)

I'm not sure I have 5 favourites! Let's try anyway.

School of Rock - my undisputed favourite. Kids, rock music and humour.

Mean Girls - it's comedy but quite deep for it.

The Sound Of Music - old, but I've seen it so many times, and really love it. I've read the book too many times as well.

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind - It's hard to pick a favourite Ghibli movie but this would probably be it because of the storyline. Totoro wins hands-down on cuteness, though.

A last one... I'll have to consider it.
