Now on my last thread, I was told Claydol shouldn't learn Stealth Rock. I won't give up on it! How about Torterra? Here's my current set:

    Torterra@Leftovers
    Nature:Impish
    Wood Hammer
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake
    Synthesis

I don't know what to replace for Stealth Rock, if it should even learn it. Any suggestions?

SR > Synthesis. I don't particularly like Torty competitively because of its horrible weakness to Ice and its microscopic speed.

Well, he's still useable, helped my arse plenty of times. But I'll try what you said out. I have plenty of Heart Scales, and a few Stealth Rocks, so I can experiment.

Ah, but Tangrowth gave me nightmares. Seriously. Besides, Torterra is a fav of mine. Tangrowth...well, I'll give it a try. Can you suggest a moveset?

if you wanna use SR on torterra I would suggest taking off stone edge and putting SR in that slot. I think that could work for you.

Sims: Do you have msn, If you do send me a PM with your messaging name and email

    Two things:
One, I hear that Ground & Grass has lousy coverage, but I'll try that out, too

Two: I'm signing into MSN tommorrow. I'll give it to you then.

Eww. If you take out SE then even Delibird would give you problems.

It has too much of a flying problem to run without stone edge, you would be best off not even giving it stealth rock IMO, leave that to Donphan or Bronzong. I would also try to squeeze curse in instead of synthesis and run it with leftovers.

Leftovers for sure, but here is my team:

    Torterra
    Gyarados
    Vileplume
    Noctowl
    Raichu
    Claydol
Those in Bold can actually use it.

They are all my favs, especially Vileplume. But I have a major Ice weakness and Noctowl (who was surprisingly useful) gets the most use when Whirlwind is used along with SR. If you need movesets, I cant Wii-tye them, but I can bring up a thread with them.

Yes it does, So you can switch either one of those 2 for stone edge. I would keep woodhammer because of the stab on it and use stone edge because it hits so many things. SR on him is really good imo.

Starmie can OHKO or 2HKO every member of your team except for Raichu, who isn't horribly scary anyway. I'd recommend making some substitutions.

I took out plenty of well trained Starmie, but you weren't the first to say this. I need a sp.wall. Suggestions?

EDIT:Oh wait, now I remember. I wanted Dusknoir. Who should I replace?

you have a X4 ice weakness... which is the worst weakness to have on a team. you also have no ice resistances, which makes it even worse.

yeah, dusknoir he could definitely work, especially if you're looking to have a poke on your team use stealth rock. he can stop Explosion/Selfdestruct + Rapid Spin. plus, you really need something with a physical fighting move (Brick Break). it's a shame you don't have one that is more suited to sweep really =/

get something that resists ice attacks to use stealth rock. there are plenty steel + rock types that can do this.

Samson, I wish you didn't say that. It makes perfect sense, I feel silly now. BROZONG! I forgot all about it! Nice defenses, and able to use Rapid Spin (right?) AND Stealth Rock.

I say I wish you didn't say that cause I personally can't stand Brozong. Ah well. I'll get used to it. Can you suggest a moveset using both Rapid Spin + SR?

actually, bronzong doesn't learn rapid spin. it does learn stealth rock, however.

i personally can't stand bronzong myself, but i am impressed by its capabilities in battle. it can do so many things that some pokes could only wish to accomplish from crippling a whole team to sweeping half of one.

Damn it, Samson, I just realized that. It's a shame. He does have Trick Room, I'm a huge fan of that. I just wish there was a good Rapid Spinner besides Forretres.
