Toughest non boss trainer/trainer class

This guy! My pokemon were tired from grinding and trying to find a decent Riolu and he caught me completely off guard with a full 6 mumber team, can't think of any other trainers that have come near to him really.

He had some very heavy hitters too. Gyarados, Crobat and like the poster above said Snorlax and Gigalith >_<

The Veterans definitely. They always have some pretty good Pokemon, and good strategies. They can rip through your whole team apart if you're unprepared (overstatement here). I agree with a poster above with Veteran Shaun being very hard. His Gyarados and Snorlax gave me the creeps.

I'll never ever go to Challenger's Cave because of Shaun.

His Snorlax is like, the bulkiest thing you can battle.

And you'll struggle against Gyarados if you don't have Electric attacks.

I always struggle against Veterans, even the ones on Route 10.

Ace Trainers are pretty advanced trainers to battle. Otherwise a lot of other trainers are a breeze for me.

 

[Elite Overlord LeSabre™]

Cool/Ace Trainers and Veterans. They always have a good mix of Pokemon types, and usually strong final form Pokemon at that. They are good for loads of experience and cash, though, but they definitely make you work for it.
