Toughest Pokemon?

Yeah, too bad he went off on his own with mew.
 
Mewtwo, Deoxys, and to a lesser extent Mew. The "Genetic" Pokemon are the toughest. Other 00bers are easier to beat. Although Mewtwo fears Tyranitar and other Darks he can learn Fighting attacks, and if not his Special attack is so high that a Bubblebeam from him can damage Houndoom and Tyranitar.

Now, as for the other tough characters you guys listed...
Forettress-Any Fire Type can beat him...come on, now. He fears Ember for God's sake.
Charizard-Throw rocks at him.
Steelix-Water or Fire types. He can't learn anything to beat a common water type (and we all know they are very common).
Alakazam-OK, well this guy is hard to beat if you don't have the Speed. But if a Rhyhorn survives and Ice Punch and Heracross survives Psychic they can come back with Megahorn and OHKO his nerd ***. :D
Tyranitar-Come on...quad weakness to Fighting and can't even learn moves that are super-effective against Fighting types (can he learn Aerial Ace?) One Cross Chop from Machap will easily KO him. There is no way he can survive it even if it doesn't score a critical hit.
Skarmory-Well, I'll admit only Fire and Electirc types stand a chance against him, but they are common enough.
Articuno-Rocks
Zapdos-Ice and Rock attacks are too common.
Moltres-The worst legendary. Throw rocks at him and he's KFC to go. Nothing like some hot wings.
Blissey-Very tough...it's almost immune to Special Attacks, so this makes sense. Fighting type attacks aren't seen much, either.
Kyogre-He's tough...but has a weakness that can be easily exploited.
Golem-Defense wise, yes...
 
Moltres-The worst legendary. Throw rocks at him and he's KFC to go. Nothing like some hot wings.

LOL well guess you put everyones answer to shun... I guess people just go for the ones they like more instead of the real strong ones.

It can but so can Tyranitar. Dragonite's quad weakness is to more common attacks that Tyranitar's.

It actually took me longer to train Larvitar. At least Dratini didn't have the nasty quad weakness to Grass and Water. When it got to the level I could fight Victory Road Pokes, it was all downhill from there, though.

I say a tough Pokemon can hold its own even against Pokemon that can exploit its weaknesses. Mewtwo can certainly do this.
 
I'd say that Mewtwo is strong, but Weezing can hold more pain than it. Weezing's Defence is naturally better than Mewtwo's

Mewtwo's highest defence stat is one more than Weezing's lowest defence stat. Seeing how Weezing's attack and other stats aren't low, Weezing would put up one hell of a fight, The only disadvantage there is that Mewtwo is Psyhic type and Weezing is Poision type.

I guess it depends what your definition of tough means. Obviously to you it means Defense. To me, it means a Pokemon that can hold its own against types it's weak against and do it well. Weezing can't do this. Mewtwo can.

Actually, Any Pokemon thats at a high level, high attack over 200 and a defence thats higher than 300, that has alot of HP can do this, Weezing can hold its own againest Pokemon it has type disadvantage againest, because Mewtwo is Psychic it only has weaknesses againest other Psychic, Dark and Bug type pokemon attacks. Weezing is only weak againest Psychic and Ground type pokemon attacks, Mewtwo might be the best at holding off his opponents attacks based on type, but Weezing is right up there near the top because you can teach pokemon other moves not of its type, Such as Shadow Ball or something thats type disadvantage to Mewtwo, but just remember, just before Weezing faints, he could use Destiny Bond to take Mewtwo with him :D

Think about this: Can Weezing even get a chance to attack Mewtwo considering it's kind of slow? One Psychic from Mewtwo is a guaranteed KO to Weezing. He won't even get a chance to do anything. So much for your theory.

This only applies to Pokemon that are battling are on the same level. I don't even think Weezing's Shadow Ball can OHKO Mewtwo, anyway. Speed means alot.

just kidding heheheh... for me, the toughest pokemon in the game are the eevelutions... just make a baton passing team with them and a mewtwo in the last slot XD XD... double team, calm mind, acid armor, agility... just needed swords dance from flareon.. shame it couldn't learn..

Speed does mean alot, so do certain items pokemon can hold to increase thier speed, Red's Espeon(Pokemon Crystal) KOed my Weezing in one hit with psychic and it was only 2 levels under it, i raised it to the same level and Psychic only took off 1.5/4th of my HP and nothing changed on my weezing hmm so much for your come back
 
I think Lugia is the toughest Pokemon. It's Aeroblast attack can take down any Pokemon that crosses its path.

That's Espeon. I was talking about Mewtwo. You can bet that your Weezing wouldn't survive a Psychic from Mewtwo. I said that Weezing doesn't stand a chance against Mewtwo. Never said anything about Espeon. Learn to read my posts.

It can't take down a Rock, Steel, or Electric type in one hit. It can't even take down a Dragonite in one hit. Believe me, I've tried.

I said it for an example, learn to understand and dont double post

I got pissed off over you thinking you know everything so last night me and my friend used gameshark to get one mewtwo and one weezing, level 100, max stats. He used Psychic, it left me with 22HP and i got Destiny Bond in, he killed me and i took him with me, just like i told you
