Have you faced certian bad guys or enemies in games that seemed almost impossible to get past or beat?

For me, the hammer brothers in the original SMB are so cheap.
They keep throwing tons of hammers at a time and it's tough to by them without getting hit, and the ones that run toward you while throwing hammers are pure evil.

Cyber Demon from the original Doom hands down.

I probably found him/her/it to be such a challenge because Doom was my first ever FPS and I was not used to playing it at the time.

Sephiroth of the Kingdom Hearts games.

It's all fine and well for those FF7 players...they get to fight him in a party, for some stupid reason, Donald and Goofy magically disappear whenever Sephiroth is battled for Kingdom Hearts 2.

Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II. He was a pain in the butt to beat since you can only use Sora during the battle. Took me at least four tries before I could bring him down.

In Final Fantasy it's Seymour Flux.

If you're doing a specific challenge (like No Sphere Grid, No Blitzball, No Summons, No Escaping, No Overdrives), it's going to be near impossible. Also remember that most if not all your characters won't have any HP above the 1k range and by that time most monsters deal 100-2,000 damage per hit.

    Eh...

From a personal favorite of mine, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition. I'd Say Ramon Salazar.

He turns into a giant plant enemy, he attacks with two giant vines and at random times he will do an inavoidable attack that instantly kills you. Also, his only weak spot is a small eye which comes out, after hitting that you have to hit another weak spot, it takes about seven times in the eye and stuff to finnally K.O him.

Nihilanth in Half life. The first time it took me an hour to beat him. He keeps teleporting you to these puzzle rooms. He is really annoying and I kept dying on him. But it was worth it because of Half-life's ending
I hated the cliffhanger ending :x

Then you get another cliffhanger at the end of HL2, then Ep1... I am annoyed.

    Sepiroth

I agree with DarkArcz and Lex Rextron.

Sepiroth In Kingdom Hearts I and II.

A couple of hits on KH1 and you're dead.

My friend bet him on KH2, I saw him, but I dunno how he did it.

The Yellow Squadron in Ace Combat 04 gave me the biggest headache in all of the games I've played. I'm outnumbered 5 to 1 and they have very manuverable jets. Every time I tried to get a missile lock on one of them or get one of them in my gunsights, 3 others have a lock on me and just keep firing missiles at me.

Luckily, some QAAMs will take them all out since they stay right on the exhaust of whatever their target is.

the only enemy/boss i ever remember having trouble with was sephiroth in kingdom hearts 1&2 ofcoures his fights where the only worthwhile ones in both the games but the games where fun so it more than makes up for it
