This is a song I recently wrote in dedication to my friend, Raunie (Girl name) a few weeks ago.



The walk down the road was tough that day

I remember when we first met, riding in the power wheels
I crashed into yours so we tried to push them up the hill
Later on that day, I got my first pair of skates
I couldn't tie, you had to just so I could skate
It's crazy to think we met on my 5th birthday
Growing up together everything began to change
I developed feelings but you always stayed the same
Never opened up about your emotions
And I can't help but think If I would've gotten you to
Maybe just maybe, It would have stopped your final motion

It was high school, I thought I was so cool
I was in love with you, but I never told you
Cause I had a stupid fear of rejection
Maybe this will answer some of my questions
I was too scared never told you how I felt
I thought I would get rejected and it would hurt
I had no idea the pain that would ensue
as soon as I got the news
My heart tore into two

I typically don't rate lyrics to well as they are usually to be done to song. So the only thing I can say is put some music to it, you'll get a stronger reaction

usually when I'm reviewing a song for someone, I just read it as if it were a poem. I just moved where I live, if I had friends around here and whatnot already, I'd probably be screaming this song on tour right now. lol
