    This isn't really a hack, but..

    Have any of you thought of a trade emulator?

    If you don't get me, it means, instead of 2 Pokemon games trading, we have 1 Pokemon game and a homebrew app to simulate another game, and you can choose what Pokemon you want to trade xxx for on the homebrew.

    Eg.

    (before connect)

    SELECT PARTY
    1. _____________ <EDIT>
    2. _____________ <EDIT>
    3. _____________ <EDIT>
    4. _____________ <EDIT>
    5. _____________ <EDIT>
    6. _____________ <EDIT>

    <CONNECT>

    (trading)

    TRADE EMULATOR

    1. _____________ <TRADE>
    2. _____________ <TRADE>
    3. _____________ <TRADE>
    4. _____________ <TRADE>
    5. _____________ <TRADE>
    6. _____________ <TRADE>

    (selecting trade)

    2. _____________ TRADE FOR 1. _____________ <TRADE>
    ------------------------------------2. _____________ <TRADE>
    ------------------------------------3. _____________ <TRADE>
    ------------------------------------4. _____________ <TRADE>
    ------------------------------------5. _____________ <TRADE>
    ------------------------------------6. _____________ <TRADE>

    <DISCONNECT>

    (trading)

    TRADING. GO LOOK AT CRAP ANIMATION.

    (trade done)

    DONE, CHEATER.

    <GO BACK TO PARTY TO TRADE ANOTHER OR SAME>
    <DISCONNECT>

    After the trade, the thing you traded to the Trade Emu would be gone.
    After all, you can just recreate it..

    The edit screen would be complicated though.

    I guess it could be done, but why do that if you could just make a Pokemon appear in an area using Advancemap?
