Is it possible to trade a pokemon from FireRed to LeafGreen when all you have are a couple of gamboy DS's? If not, is it possible to trade from FireRed to Diamond to Pearl to LeafGreen? Thanks for the help!

aw man. yeah, it helps, but its not the answer I wanted to hear :( So my fire red will go forever unfinished. bummer. can a pokemon go from FireRed to diamond to pearl through?

if you have a lil money to spend you can pick up a couple GBA's and a link cable for pretty cheap on ebay. I did that once, I paid I think about $20 total for an old "Glacier" GBA and a link cable, so its not too bad. I just checked and theres lots of GBA and GBA SP for cheap, just make sure the person has good feedback ^^

thanks for the tip. I doubt i'll be buying another gameboy though, got me a ds and Im sticking to it. i'll just focus on finishing diamond/pearl.

After you get the national dex in D/P you can follow the route underneath sandgem town(or city idk) all the way to Pal park where Prof. Oak will explain stuff blah blah blah. Save there and turn off your ds. Turn it back on (with the game you want to migrate the pokemon from) and pick 6 (make sure they are in your PC box). Go into the gameplay and talk to the guy in the building where professor oak was. You will then start your Pal Park game where you are judged when you catch your own pokemon and there you go, you have your firered pokemon on D/P.

Just incase you needed that :).
