Trading Issue

    When seeking pokemon on the GTS trade centre you can only seek pokemon you have originally seen.

    I notice lots of people are requesting Mew's, Jirachi's etc

    Does anyone know how to go about seeing them, thus being able to seek them in the GTS?

    Or is it more likely these people have had these pokemon on previous versions of the game?

    And if I battle someone over wifi will they're pokemon be registered as 'seen' on my pokedex?

    Sorry a lot of questions but just want to get this as clear in my head as possible.

    You ask to trade for them here but you have to have good pokemon or you go to an event
     
    Do the trades on here get arranged to happen on GTS or at the pokemon centres?

    Im new to this so sorry if I seem stupid lol

    But you ask for their friends list and name you add them you go under pokemon center you will see name their then you can trade or battle
