Are you the type of person to continuously trade over all your level 100 Pokemon that you have gotten so that when it's time to beat the Elite 4, you do it very easily? Or do you like a whole new start each different Pokemon game?

I don't really have a choice anymore since I play emulators, but I would still like a fresh start just because I feel like adding in Pokemon are cheap. However, when I was younger and I had 2 Game Boys I would trade until I got Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur and would only use those 3 until I got to the legendary birds. Then I'd use those 3 and the birds. :D.

I don't always do this, but sometimes I have. After I beat Pearl the first time, I transferred a lot of stuff from Generation III. However, I didn't want to move all my stuff from Pearl or Platinum over to my White version.

Speaking of such, I actually traded my notable Pokémon from my White version over to White 2, and erased the save in it. In my main White 2 I do have two Garchomps, two Hydreigons, two Scizors and a few others.

I have everything I need to trade between all the games I own (the entire main series, basically) , but I never trade a fully trained team to a new game. I like making a fresh start every time I start a new game, and the only thing I ever trade to a new game are eggs. I just like starting a new team, trying out Pokémon I've never tried out before, and leading a team of six Pokémon from the beginning to the end (even if I sometimes have to grind like crazy before the Elite Four... Gen Foooouuuuurrr!!!) . Trading a fully trained team just doesn't feel right.

When I start a new game, I trade back and forth the legendary Pokémon and my team (which then sit in my PC) . I played Gen 6 six times (coincidence) since its release, and now, between my X and Y, I have six teams with the levels between 75 and 80, six Mewtwos, six Zygardes, three Xerneases, three Yveltals and two sets of Kanto birds.

Well, the way it's set up, you have to beat the game before you can transfer any pokemon from past generations. But, I have traded some higher level pokemon to assist with beating the main game from other games in the same generation.

I do this every once in a while, but I do it after I'm done with playing through the storyline. If I did it any time sooner, it'd just make the game too easy for me.
