3rd Gen Trading via emulator?

Hey, so I'm playing through Fire Red on an emulator, the VBA-M which works much better than the regular VBA. So I want a Golem, and have a Graveler that already has Rock Slide. I've tried using cheat codes to get a golem but none of them work (if you're skilled at this contact me) and is there any way without downloading a VBA Link that I can trade my Graveler? I really would like a Golem.

sorry only Vba Link is capable of trading the other way is to remove trade evo's with something like yet another pokemon editor or using universal randomizer :)

I don't know about any cheats, but I am familiar with the 3rd gen file format. I might be able to "evolve" it manually, but I'd need a copy of either the extracted graveller pkm file or the save file.

Sorry. I use MyBoy emulator on Android.
This emulator have Link Local function. You can trade with other games in your phone/same game (but different save file).
You can transfer your ROM and SAVE to a phone via USB cable, TRADE and transfer the game back to PC

Not only with other games. You can even trade with yourself (Same game. same file. Very useful for people playing the non-hacked games.)
