I am going over a friend's house today and we are going to trade from my leaf-green to her sapphire/ruby.

I lost that little booklet that gave the storyline/plot/etc of Leaf Green, but I remember reading somewhere that if you didn't have a link cable, you could use 2 Gameboy Advance to Gamecube link cables.

    How would you do that?

i dont know but you could with one gba ^^
1)first you trade ruby pokemon over to gamecube
2)trade lgfr pokemon to gamecube, now the frlg has the ruby pokemon
    3) trade ruby with the gamecube,
now the gamecube has its pokemon back and ruby cart has the lgfr pokemon and vise versa
    hope i helped ^^
    next time use simple questions

So.. you only need two pkmn game cartridges? You don't need a game disc in the gamecube?

youll need a gamecube :P, pokemon gba games 1 gba and 1 link to gc, but you will need to have completed colosseum or XD to be able to trade, i thought you already had one of the two gc games sorry
you have to have met the requiremwnts in all 3 games

You can't just trade your Pokemon to Game Cube. You have to have a game disc in the Game Cube like Pokemon Collesium. Other games like Mario and stuff won't have any affect, but that is common sense. The rest of the stuff he told you is true though. I have not done this procedure yet myself though I have all the materials needed. I am going to trade my Collesium Pokemon to Emerald, but that is not related to the subject. So I guarantee it will work if all things have been done in each game.

Yes, please use Simple Questions next time you have a simple questions. The link is in my sig and in the group of stickies at the top of Fr/Lg (GBA) forum.
