Hey,

I have a question regarding the data of Trainer Pokemon. Specifically what is called the EV field in HTE.
I found this thread from NewDenverCity.
In this thread it is mentioned as IVs (where a values between 0 - 31 would make sense). But the game itself sets this value to 255 for strong trainers (e.g.: the E4 rematches in FR).
Does this field correspond to IVs or EVs and how does it behave?

Those are IVs; you can work out the actual value by multiplying the number in HTE by 31 and dividing it by 255. E.g. if "EVs" = 150, the actual IVs = 150*31/255 = 18. No idea why Game freak did it that way.
