    Hi, how do I change the transition for a specific trainer? (I don't want the one with two bars and two players sprite, but my own)

    The script for that animation is in the section PField_Visuals under "def pbBattleAnimationOverride"

    Right underneath that code (around line 514 in base Essentials) are some instructions on how to replace that animation with your own.
