2nd Gen Training....bleh!

Ok. Is it just me, or do you find yourself training pokes more than you do actaully playing the [story line] game? That includes raising and breeding. It gets so old! Where do you train?
I'm only partially through the Silver version, so I usually surf around olivine or magohny.

Train at the Lake of Rage's grassy areas, or in Ice cave. (To the East of Mahogony Town)

When going through the game, I tend to train nearest to the gym. Say, training for Mossdeep's gym I train in Shoal Cave.

But, after the game, here's my choices:

RBY: Unknown Dungeon
GSC: Mt. Silver
RSE: Sky Pillar
DP: Turnback Cave, in the level 64+ room
