its quite hard i agree, but are you useing items when you train. There are certain items which will train your pokemon at a equal rate such as the exp share, if you get them lace them on your weakest pokemon and they will train while you train your others, yes the pokemon you are battlenig with gets less exp, but it give the weak pokemon chances as well.
i bet you have heard this hundreds of times, but to train up your pokemon either t,ake your chances and go up against the elite four, even if you lose you get exp.
or you could use the v seeker and fight older opponents to get exp =)
